World Events - 2012
Belarus has officially joined the Russian Federation. They did so after a vote in their nation, in of which, Russia won with 80% of the vote. Russia has begun to join Belarus' military with Russia's own as well as creating massive service projects to aid Belarus. Many around Russia see how much Russia helps and feel slightly swayed to join Russia.
The US asks China for a complete list of all of the debts still unpaid and has stated that the US will pay them. The US also has declared the caliphate in the Horn of Africa to be a threat to all democratic nations and have declared that they will aid nations in the fight against them.
Colombia is in a state of political unrest and emergency due to the drug cartels, more specifically the one run by Jose Escobar. The people of Colombia look for help and would gladly welcome any aid.
India and Pakistan have yet to take military action yet and the UN wishes for violence to be avoided. However, the UN is investigating the plan to attack India.
Finally, the UN have decided to take military action in order to protect Sudan from the caliphate.
