A change in strategy?

So, if you are blind you may not have noticed that hoang nghiem and Zero Point both have acd's. Hoang has a noble from the looks of it, now what does this mean? Its a huge detachment from the norm they have gotten nobles at the point levels that nubs usually do, but they applied the speed of an elite player to it from my tracing of the top 20 which may be flawed there is one other level 17 smithy and no one else has really started an acd rush, with the two of them now having nobles, I wonder if the vet's in the core will stick with what they know or adapt to keep safe? Will all players now smithy rush perhaps to look cool to spite the detriments that they may incur?

I hope that people will just play to their location, and not to the rank.

Maybe players near hoang or PP who are at threat may academy rush or change their tactics, but for the majority, I believe will carry on with their own game and generally do what is best for their own growth.

I think others will just carry on as normal. The vets in the core are relatively safe, as the tribes capable of actually damaging each other (RA, Rumble, Window etc.) seem on either pretty good terms, or are simply not in the location to fight. There is obviously some kind of strategy to it, as I cannot envisage these players rushing to look 'cool'; though perhaps they are doing it because of that safety, they can afford to. If they have the troops to cover them, two villas are obviously better than the one. They can then grow quicker, obviously, without much risk of being attacked or their growth being stunted. I may have just gone off on a tangent and this post may make no sense, but it's late so hey ;D It just seems to be some kinda prototypical strategy, perhaps thought up by Rumble Those very close to them two will no doubt have changed their tactics a bit, as they have to really, but yeah as I mentioned at the start I doubt vets(or at least hope they don't) will change their strategies. I really do hope it just doesn't turn into a mad noble rush now. I really do apologise for this long and pointless post btw

I never really understood why some people noble rush. I don't see the point in doing that when there isn't any worthwhile villages to take.

One of the steps in the general method was at some stage to get pits to 20/20/20 ish before the Smithy rush. If you're an active farmer you can skip that entire part out and keeps pits at like 10 7 7.

Also if you have Hoang or PP near you, I think its common knowledge that you should have adjusted your strategy long before now or just restarted..

so i wont leave it go to waste. and I have a bad experience in w36 where packets aint helping, with 3 noblemen you wont go far, and backtime is possible if you not careful who you are picking on. I decide another stategy for packets and i will stick with it.

[pp]I have said it a few times already. I dont really know why I have an academy as I have no current plans of nobling. I was just clicking buttons and we had such a massive lead that smithies didnt really slow us down that much. It was probably a subconscious decision since I have been busy this week and needed slow buildings since I couldnt get online all that much.[/pp]

I don't plan on having an academy for a little while. I figure ill continue farming/recruiting until other villas start getting large enough to be worth my while. I just cant justify nobling a village with less than 2k points unless a situation arises where its absolutely necessary.

As long as we're talking about a change in strategy, lets talk hq's. A quick and dirty scan comes up with all but four 21+ hqs belonging to Rumble.

You know what I find interesting? Hoang isn't here. But a similar search on farms (ask PP nice maybe he'll display his) gives Hoang the highest farm.

Note the 3 lvl 24 hqs? Only Rumble has players with them. You'd think one of them had the 2nd or even the third largest farm...but no.

So every Rumble player in the top 20 but Hoang has an hq above 20. Anybody else remember when it was considered foolish to do that?

I guess the conclusion here is if you want to be a good player on the level of Rumble in today's tribalwars, get hq upgrading.

Pervie quit being paranoid. My point had nothing to do with insulting your tribe. It just had to do with the change in hq paradigm. The thread is about changing strategy in tw, your tribe was the perfect example. It's no secret that I'm one of the 4 others with HQ above 20.
