A TuToRial in Light Infantry : Abdo vs L.I

A nuke in general is more useful when there are more rams than cats, as the primary objective of this game is to noble, rather than cat down an opponent. Catting is a secondary option and is only considered when nobling isn't an option for one reason or another.

Also... its not as though L.I have the ability to use cat nukes properly anyway, so it is a safe assumption to make. :)

I often have more cats than rams. It isn't something to be ashamed of.

I didn't know you were back Red, or just trolling Ade? :icon_wink:

I doubt you have more cats than rams in nukes intended to clear people? Definitely not at the 5 village stage.

Well, if only I got "your" sort of offence more at late-game... would make defending easier *yawn*

Incorrect, especially for packet worlds (due to cheap rebuilds). Send a fake noble train and cat down opponent's backline...

A word in for L.I: Two of their smaller members, using good timing and coordination, managed to cat me down. I was powerless without outside support. Kudos to them for realizing that it only takes some cooperation to take down the big players at an early stage.

Maybe you are only looking at the conquers?

Hint: There more ways than nobling a tribe's villages to weaken them.

First there is only one player (for now) actively taking part in giving the
L.I noobs a lesson in nobling (so it's not going to affect noble stats much
over night), and that's me:

Side 1:
Players: Abdo
Side 2:
Tribes: L.I

Timeframe: Forever

Total conquers against opposite side:

Side 1: 4
Side 2: 0
Difference: 4

chart

Points value of total conquers against opposite side:

Side 1: 12,855
Side 2: 0
Difference: 12,855

chart

Secondly, nobling a tribe's duke generally demolishes the moral of a tribe,
hence Abdo is receiving groveling letters from demoralised members to
spare them.

Also, I would hardly call this a war, it's more of a lesson!

I think Ade was referring to the weakening of the nukes due to cats being
more pop heavy (an extra 3 villagers per cat) than rams.

Anyway, your opponent would have to be blind, inactive, or a complete
noob not to notice a fake noble-train (containing rams) heading towards
his/her back-line...

... if not within a few fields, it's better to use real nobles in your fakes! :icon_rolleyes:

By a fake noble train, I meant single nobles without any troops :/

But we were discussing Ade and his cats, were we not? :icon_confused:

Also, it's a good idea to send "some" troops to support your fake nobles,
because at times you get lucky and take your faked targets...

... it DOES happen!
