    Good afternoon,

Before you tidied up the Allowed Scripts thread there used to be a section where you had allowed Tools etc...

    ZomGTW was apart of this.

Additional sites like http://www.fxutility.net/massap_eng.php for mass attack planning etc are also widely used.

Could the TW MODs please give us TW players some guidance on whether can actually use these to compliment our gameplay like they were before.

You're welcome to use external tools as long as they don't interact with your account (i.e. doing anything that you'd have to be logged in to do).

If the tool generates scripts, you shouldn't use them. (Only scripts from the List of Approved Scripts are permitted)

    Examples:
the zomgTW Player finder/mailer would be safe (copy/pasting text is fine)
the zomgTW bookmark helper instructs you to use a script that's not approved. You shouldn't use that script.

Last year, about the time that the Opera t-train stopped working and the noble train attack function was introduced, there was a TW extension to Google Chrome going around. I was pretty sure that we were told that it was not allowed (so I didn't use it).

I know that the attack limit for W25 is 50ms, so it seems churlish to complain about people achieving this, but I know I couldn't manage it on my keyboard/connection just by any combination of tapping quickly and wondered if we are allowed to use the Chrome TW extension and if there are any other similar tools that are allowed (or are not allowed before we start researching them...)

I appreciate that publicising them might make more people use them, even if they are illegal, but the rest of us could do with knowing what is against the rules and what is not. I appreciaite that it might be hard to enforce :icon_confused:

As I recall, the outcome of this discussion (including a support ticket iirc was that the Chrome TW extension is okay (if unreliable..) Surely this is the place where that should be confirmed. Pretty please.
