Use this on just about any village overview to rename all listed villages.

    Code:
    javascript:$.getScript('https://media.innogamescdn.com/com_DS_UK/Scripts/nameVillages.js');void 0;

    instructions:
*uncheck any options you don't want to use
*click and drag the handles at the right side to rearrange.

You are an absolute babe :icon_razz:

On a .us village mass renamer it mentions a xx.xx.xx notation, would that be possible to add? Just thought of it :)

I added a continent:sector:field option. You might need to clear your browser's personal data for it to show up.

I don't know if it's technically possible. But it would be cool if you could add a +1 calculater.

So for example the basic name would be for example

    K55 01

and the option keeps adding numbers, so if you have 50 villas in that K it would automatically be renamed:

    K55 01
    K55 02
    K55 03
    ...
    K55 48
    K55 49
    K55 50

That's simple, just sort villas into K55 group in the overview and run the script to that it automatically names the villas 1, 2, 3, etc. but it'll only do K55. Then select K56 and run the same, simples! :)

Yeah I kinda had a blonde moment there sorry :p

The only question I've now if it's possible to remove the extra zeros. If I rename them now I got 4 numbers like this

    "K55 0022"

I'm just wondering if it's possible to make it
    "K55 22" without the two "00".

(hope it's not another blonde moment here because I haven't been able to figure it out.)

I was wondering the same, four is a bit excessive for early in the world.

I changed the village numbering today - there should now be two inputs for it:

    [TABLE="class: grid, width: 500"]

    Start #
the number to begin counting at

    Digits
setting it to "3" would result in 001
Setting it to "5" would result in 00001
    [/TABLE]

I'm having issues with this script on UK16. Whenever I try to add the cords fields, it gives me an error "the villa name (001 54:00:004) contains invalid characters". Any idea whether this is a bug on the script, or just something going wrong on my end? Running it on Chrome, never had issues using it before. Thanks!

I realise this is a big change and I'm probably the only one who'd want it, making it a waste of time to do, but I name my villages uniquely but still number them to keep them in order. Would it be possible to have a textarea for a comma/semi-colon/newline separated array of names which the renamer could go through from first to last? It'd be simple enough for me to save this string in Notepad locally but if it could be processed by this to name using these already fantastic options as well as the unique names then this would be a total life saver for me!

    Cheers for a great script.

    Excellent script!

Would be nice if you could pick your first village and then rename them in order from that village by proximity. Would that be a possible addition?

    Thanks.

Does starting names with "Distance from a village" not do that?

Unfortunately not. That just adds the distance from the selected village to the end of the villages names.

If I could find a working Village Re-namer by proximity I could just use it in conjunction with your script by just running the proximity one to get villages in order and then yours to rename them as I wish.... but since the updates none seem to work.

This script is currently not working for me. Maybe because of the update?

Everything is working 'till I hit "rename villages"; then nothing happens.
Do have to say I use the overview sorter before; but I always did that and it worked fine.
