    Classic 11 will start on Saturday 2nd July around mid morning.

    World speed 3.5
    Unit speed 0.5
    Morale:No
    Paladin: Yes no weapons
    Archers: No
    Packet Academy with cheap rebuild
    Tech: 15 Tech
    Church: No
    Barbs grow to 1000 points
    Bonus Vills: No
    Hauls Yes
    Attack Gap 100ms
    Militia: Yes
    Beginner Protect 2 days
    Tribe Limit:5, No outside support, Support withdrawn on leaving tribe.
    Win condition 75% dominance for 10 days

    Jeez are these classic rounds so unpopular because they are too fast, or because they don't have p2w :?

    probably both reasons!!

    Bring back Haul limit!!! I'm too lazy to farm and it will stop people running away with the world

    The world opened with the following settings:
    <empty_villages>30</empty_villages>
    <bonus_villages>0</bonus_villages>

    That means 30 barbs per 100 players. A very small number, smaller than it used to be. When the world opened, it looked way smaller than that.
    Add this to the fact it's World speed 3.5 and Unit speed 0.5 (and thus 1.75 unit speed in effect) this makes pits extremely overpowered compared to farming. The farmers will not run away with the world as easily as normal until much later in the world. The intelligent players will (who balance farming and pit upgrades).

    But besides from that, Classic worlds are meant to have classic features. That means hauls will always be active (or should be).
