Farm and troop organisation

I built every kind of troops in my village: axes, spears, LC, sword....
Now I have nobled a another village. I would like to specialized one in attack, one in defense. But the thing is I can't assign the troop from my first village to my second one, I can only send support (or I haven't found out how to do it). Which mean that when my troops are in my second village, I cannot give them order from my second village, I have to withdraw them. What a crap!

My question is: If I want my first village to be a defensive one, what am I supposed to do with the offensive troops have build? Getting them killed to have some space for defensive one?

Yes - simple really
