I agree with the Time of the Attack Landing LOB. Did he scout before? Or did you do the usual? Leave it wide open then suddenly get loads of support in. lol

Well, seeing as there was no wall I guess there are only 2 possible explanations, either LOB is a complete noob and forgot to ever build his wall or it had been nuked to death. I think it's safe to say he doesn't forget to build his walls up, so we can possibly assume the vil was cleared and he got those troops in before the train. If I nuke a vil to death I see no real point in scouting, nor, I imagine, would many others unless it was seriously stacked, and that was far from stacked.

I agree with the Time of the Attack Landing LOB. Did he scout before?

He attacked some 15 hours earlier catting my farm as i dodged with my defence hence no wall still, had to rebuild farm first. Noticed the train arriving 10 mins before night bonus ends so just left my defence in vill thinking that it will probably be unaccompanied nobles at that time.

shh, don't give away my favourite tactic. times i have imagined you guys rubbing your ends with glee at finding an empty village of mine only to lose your trains, much more fun then just getting your tribe to stack all your vills

Going back to your original killingkong noble attempt....I would suggest that the big mistake you talk of was in fact made by you. I can picture it now, you discover the train late and can only get 297 hc into village in time, then surely you need to be sniping the train not plonking the hc in front of it, had kong had sent a nuke or even a quarter nuke with his first noble then that 10 ma would be sufficient to have taken the village.

I don;t get your hilarity on the 10 ma? On minus 25 luck it takes a L12 wall to kill the noble even in NB. The attack was sent after a clearing force on a cheeky grab attempt for a retake to a villa with no walls?

It failed. Well done you but on such an attack you will succeed as the other player is offline or fail if they're not so why waste a half nuke in NB when any stack would kill your attacking force?

If was timed immediately after the clearing attack then again would you post up the 2nd to 4th nobles in a train that dies and laugh then?

Those 10 MA landed 10 seconds after the first noble attempt, and that was bad enough for a recap attempt, maybe if it landed even in the same second it wouldn't be quite so embarrassing. A train is different, unless it's an 8 second train or nobles 2-4 have no troops with them I would see no reason to say anything, if it was one of my trains it would be something to be proud of though :icon_biggrin:

10 MA can escort a noble with ease so still not seeing why this is so bad?

Because my trains are fast of course, not managed to get under 7ms though got 9ms a couple of days ago, now you know, ROFL. As for the 10 MA, it's just bad, they could have been sniped with 3 HC and the noble would have died, you're not seriously suggesting that attack is adequate are you? :icon_rolleyes:

like jo says, don't get why you think this so bad. had the previous attack cleared the village then 10 ma with noble would have taken it.

The attacks i posted were worse, cos they contained a full nuke that died horribly by attacking 10 mins before nb finishes. kong only lost 10ma, and like i said had mk not been able to move his hc in time would have taken the village

lets suppose you have 2500 axe, 10 ma and 2 nobles available for a retake. whats your best chance, send 2000 axe with first noble and the rest with the secon 10 m/s later? clearly you need first to clear the village and you have much more chance of doing that by sending 2500 axe with first noble and 10 ma with second, don't believe me if you like....do you know how to use the simulator? check it out, thats what its there for. This is not opinion, but fact.

I am with LOB on this. You have to give yourself the best chance of that first noble making it.

just maybe this attack is deemed bad/funny purely on the poor timing of the other attacks.

I don't have MA so that's irrelevant, ROFL, but I always have LC to accompany my axes. But kingkong sent those 10 MA 10 seconds after the first attack of 811 axes, 169 LC, 16 HC and a massive 8 rams, I don't see why there was 10 seconds difference between each attack when they came from the same vil. I don't see how you don't understand how bad it is, they were from the same vil but 10 seconds apart, i've had 3 nobles landing in the same ms before now. I might have gone for the recap, and even if I sent 10 MA i'd have made sure they landed less than 5ms after the first attack, not 10 seconds after where it's impossible not to snipe, LMAO. :icon_rolleyes:

well not that much though having sniped a Many Meh train (or maybe I got the gap between the train and the last nuke) I don't remember it being silly fast (was a good train don't get me wrong but not anything spectacular) so maybe Santa has whispered in your ear some TW secrets?!

On this whole MA thing the original post didn't set the context at all which is a shame. Also his first attack I guess was every scrap of troops he had to try for the recap so for me surely we should be applauding his never say die attitude (and optimism maybe too!!) rather than pointing and going haha?

Ok we are now all in awe of your ability to hit the letter T. Lets move on here but in the future lets get the whole picture of why an attack is funny as firstly makes it more interesting and secondly doesn't distort the report we are supposed to howl with laughter at and thirdly doesn't throw slings and arrows at someone on these forums (yes am aware the forums are for PnP) but honestly at this stage in the world does it matter?

Actually yes, i'd rather spend 50 nukes clearing a vil than send an appalling attack like that, i've done it before.

No you haven't, the only person i've encountered with the skill to snipe one of my trains is none other than Gotcha, I have to say i'm impressed with his ability.
