Ladies and Gentlemen of W1, and anyone else who has a passing interest in this world. Firstly, let me apologise if anyone finds this 'boring and uninteresting' - I am not a natural born entertainer and have to admit I don't spend a great deal of time on PnP's I write ;-)

The purpose of this thread is to announce that as of this evening KnK will be disbanding. There are many reasons behind us doing this, and I thought id list one or two as im bound to be asked why.

1. We don't fancy sitting around waiting to be taken out. Watching paint dry would more than likely be more interesting
2. World 7 is looking like being a lot of fun
3. The prices of beer on W1 are astronomical.
4. We need a new challenge, and some new scenery to look at

Ive got a few thankyous to dish out. Firstly, a big thankyou to all KnK members past and present - we managed to put together a fantastic group of people who have moved en masse to another world to continue playing TW together, cant ask for more than that.

Thankyou to all those who attended our xmas drinkfest - see you in Dublin next year, and who knows where after that!

Thankyou to everyone who contributed something to making us stick around on W1 for well over a year - that includes T4H, W1N, and any other enemies/friends/other we have come across in our time on W1.

Thankyou to alloahitman for being the craziest, baldest, weirdest, scottishest and yet nicest TW player I have ever met.

Thankyou to Mike and Micky for being superb Co-Dukes, and for tidying up after my various mistakes!

Im sure we will get criticised for disbanding before we get taken out, but its our game, our tribe, and we play how we choose to. Think what you like of us, but if it ain't fun we ain't doing it ;-).

Good luck to all remaining tribes, you will need it when W1N come knocking, if they aren't already. You will find us noobing it up on World 7, and probably many more worlds to come after that.

And thats all I have to say about that. Any questions can be sent to somebody else, although I might answer if I feel like it.

its a sad day saying bye to W1, but I have to say i've enjoyed pretty much every minute of it! (except all the pointless stress i had before i joined knk lol)

I'm sure i'll cross paths with some of you on W7!

I really like the sound of you guys, ever since TR Broke you seemed to shine! Never got to work with you, but from an outside perspective you looked like you were having fun and kicking ass, one slightly more than the other by the end of it.

Anyway, good luck on all your endeavers, and Merry Christmas! (Booom, got that in there!)

Far from it.

When this was talked about amongst our tribe, (some time ago) we were in fact "winning" any wars we were involved in.

(I say winning, it was becoming a slight stalemate with T4H at the time, but forever entertaining all the same!). :icon_eek:

We decided to "quit whilst we were ahead", winning / losing any current wars had nothing to do with our decision.

The only time we suffered severely during our latest wars, was when the tribe as a whole (or most of) decided to all meet for an all night booze up, we chose not to worry about the incoming attacks knowing of our future plans to leave the world already.

I like to think those that have had battles with us in the past appreciate our ability to play the game, and will deep down know that us "losing" anything on this game has nothing to do with it.

We play the game for fun, and enjoyed every moment of W1, but looking ahead, and with W7 starting with the settings we were all waiting for, we decided the time was right, for US.

You obviously don't know us

As for W7 wait and see :) :lol:

What a damn shame!!! I thought our spear nukes were going to allow us to have world domination!!!!

It is a shame to see you go - KnK were the best thing to come out of TR disbanding, and could have potentially become something of a power in the world.

All the best on world 7, and any future tribal wars worlds.

Long winded attempts at justification arent needed bud, the simple two facts that explain the situation reguarding your tribes break up are 1. at the time of the disbandment you were losing your wars and 2. You gave up. You'd be far more credible if you'd disbanded before your tribe started to lose.

We don't care about credibility, we care about having fun - and all of our members having a blast.

We've achieved that.

I will miss you and Alloahitman :). I had some good banter with you and I guess whatever happened was to happen some day to some one.

I wish we would remain friends (or friendly) - at least you played in the spirit of the game; gave some and took some too...

Take care, have a great Xmas and a Happy New Year. We will meet again on other worlds, possibly as friends, most likely on opposite sides; but respect is what I have for you

Excuses, Excuses, doesnt everyone play it for fun? So I take it from this statement that KnK will be disbanding on world 7 as soon as you start to feel some heat once more. Who knows what the final outcome of this world will be, apart from the irrelevant tribe that was KnK not being a part of it.
