Greetings players!

We are about to enter a festive occasion, the 13th birthday of Tribal Wars!

Indeed, it has been 13 years now since the game started in Germany back in June 2003, and we would like to mark the occasion with you with a series of events and activities.

So put your party hats on and prepare for the Tribal Wars 13 years Birthday Event!

Starting on Monday the 27th of June we will start with a 13 days long celebration. Each day will bring a different activity for you to participate in. Some will be ingame, many will require your participation and most will give you the chance to win some fabulous prizes!

But we wont be spoiling all the fun for you just yet! We will reveal each activity on the day it takes place, so don't forget come back each day and check what is happening!

We hope you enjoy the next days, our birthday plans and your prizes of course!

Thank you for 13 amazing years!

Best wishes from our support teams, Community Managers, and the Tribal Wars Team at InnoGames!

To start off our celebrations, we want to focus on one the most important units of the game: the nobleman!

While he might be slow and expensive we still wanted to show him our appreciation and that's why we devoted a whole new event to him in 2016; to relax from his exhausting job of following the troops around the world and bringing down that loyalty.

For our birthday this fine gentleman will get another 24 hours to prove his skills in the Noble's Fair games. So head ingame and use the occasion to grab some nice prizes!

Enjoy the Noble's Fair!
And see you tomorrow for the next announcement!

Welcome back!

The celebration continues! Today, our mighty paladin has prepared a small quiz for you, with questions related to the past and history of Tribal Wars.

We will ask three questions and randomly pick three winners which replied to reward we will grant them 500 premium points!

To win you only need to have at least one correct answer, so don't hesitate to participate!

And here are the paladin's questions:

  1. How many different language versions does Tribal Wars currently have?
  2. In what year did the first non-German version of the game start?
  3. In what version number were the Casual Worlds introduced?
We await your answers!

Good luck!
And see you tomorrow for the next announcement!

As our celebrations continue it's time for another event in the game!

With the Noble's Fair closing its doors it is time to give those noblemen a well-earned rest and give those Champions of yours something to do. Send them to challenge your neighbors and capture the best crests!

Capture the Crests will be running for 24 hours; which means it's only one round. Make it count!. You will be able to pick your rewards for one additional day still once the round ends.

Get ready to earn some gems and valuable bonuses!
And see you tomorrow for the next announcement!

After all that action we grant you some rest on the fourth day of our celebrations. Remember: there are nine more days to come!

To give you some respite we prepared a small video for you, talking about the history of Tribal Wars.

The game made quite some progress in 13 years. A lot of cool new features were added and improved and the way it looks certainly changed as well.

For the occasion there is also a small teaser in the video. Don't miss it!

We hope you enjoy our little timeline video!
See you tomorrow for the next announcement!

On day five it's time to get that gray matter of yours working again! So are you ready for another quiz?

Same as the first one, we will ask three questions, and pick three winners at random and reward them with 500 premium points!

And again, one correct answer is sufficient to have a chance to win. So don't hesitate to participate!

  1. In what year was the Militia unit introduced?
  2. What was the first world to use the Secrets of Power on our version? (UK server)
  3. In what version were the awards first introduced?
We await your answers!

Good luck!
And see you tomorrow for the next announcement!

What's that? The Noble's Fair is back? Again?

Well, he he was so sad when it ended. And just look at him, who good resist such a good looking fellow?

So to make him happy again we brought the Noble's Fair back for 24 hours only.

So let him stroll the fairgrounds one more time and try to catch some more prizes to help you in the game!

Have a wonderful day!
And see you tomorrow for the next announcement!

While you were busy strolling the Noble's Fair our paladin was hard at work coming up with another set of quiz questions!

As before, we have three questions for you and will randomly pick three winners and reward them with 500 premium points each!

To win you only need to have at least one correct answer, so don't hesitate to participate!

  1. How is it possible to obtain the award "Resurrection"?
  2. In what year did we add the graphical overview that we are currently using?
  3. What is the minimum number of catapults that are required to downgrade the smithy from level 18 to a level 8 taken into consideration that the village is empty and the wall is 0?
We await your answers!

Good luck!
And see you tomorrow for the next announcement!

Phew! So these were some tough questions yesterday!

But of course you were able to figure them out! So now it's time to pat yourself on the back, lean back and let others do the dirty-work.

So how did you fare in the previous round of Capture the Crests? You now get a chance to do better!

For the next 24 hours you will have another chance to send your champions out again and capture those crests. Challenge as many players as possible and get a cool reward for all those crests!

Remember; this is only one round so use your champions wisely! You will be able to pick your rewards for one additional day still once the round ends.

Now go! We will see you tomorrow for the next announcement!

It is time for a special treat!

We decided to open a special server to celebrate the 13 years of Tribal Wars, a retro server!

For four weeks you will be able to play on version 3.4, which was active back in 2007.

13retroscreen.png

World starts: Tuesday 05.07, beginning of afternoon (German time)
World ends: Tuesday 02.08, end of afternoon (German time)

Speed: 4
Archers: On
Tech: Simple
Church: Off
Noble system: Gold coins
Barbarians: Plenty

To play on Tribal Wars classic, you'll have to access the game via tribalwars.rocks. A new account will need to be created. Note that registration will not be possible until the world has opened.

We hope you will enjoy playing old school Tribal Wars!

We will see you tomorrow for the next announcement!

Today we would like to share some numbers representing Tribal Wars with you!

Most of these numbers have been taken from Wednesday 29.06. We chose a Wednesday because this is usually one of the busiest day for Tribal Wars!

To give you an idea on what happens on such a day on Tribal Wars:

  • 75.673 villages were conquered
  • There were 3.018.916 nobles in the game, of which 189.884 were en route somewhere (We can assume some of those were successful in their task of switching loyalty!)
  • 187.353 new nobles were recruited on that day (Note that the amount is quite similar to those sent out)
  • 309.838 actions of support were made (Two for each noble! Seems unfair)
  • 68.178 levels of the Academy were built
  • 16.338 paladins were recruited (This number will most likely go up with the new skills system!)
  • In total 20.410.516 commands were made on that day. A little bit more that if every inhabitant in Romania sent a command each
    smile.png
And a little overview on the biggest numbers we currently have in Tribal Wars:

  • The biggest current tribe is Night! with 135 members on PL88
  • The players with the most villages is bo76lek on PL10 with 25810 villages
  • The oldest world still open is PL1, it opened in October 2006!
Poland is not having the biggest numbers for everything however, here is the top 5 of worlds with the biggest amount of barbarian villages:

  • TRp1: 260.124
  • NL7: 228.433
  • PL10: 164.637
  • CSp1: 143.639
  • TR12: 127.890
Let us know what you feel is the most impressive number you know about Tribal Wars (it doesn't have to be on this list!)

We will see you tomorrow for the next announcement!

He did what?!

Looks like the nobleman used the minted coins to bring back the fair!

Well, it seems like this upstart will have his will once again.

Nevertheless, enjoy your day at the fair and see you tomorrow for the next announcement!

For the final day of the event, we decided to get a bit silly and bring back an old classic and community favorite: hats! And it's not even April Fools!

The Wizards are back in Tribal Wars and ready to take over the game once again! If you don't know what we are talking about, check this video to a somewhat in depth explanation:

The hats and wizards will remain for two days, so enjoy them while they last!

This concludes our series of activities for the 13 years of Tribal Wars!

We hope you enjoyed it, and don't forget to send your best hats to your friends!
