Yeah, we did a lot of internalling. Mostly because of our start up and aggressiveness. Anyone that played from the start knows we took on tribal leaders, and whatnot. In retrospect, we definitely played more aggressive than Sparks. Let's compare our first 15?

Anyways enough of this, I may not be a great startup player, but at least I am still here and doing something, not just trolling a forum that I dont play anymore. Speaking of not playing anymore, anyone seen the latest two days in war stats? Personally I would be very embarrassed to even associate with this tribe. For a tribe that less than half the members of Kthx, I think we are doing pretty well (not to mention that I am such a bad and non aggressive player of course) :icon_wink:

Permit me to place this in cliffs.

• The account has 27 conquers
• 11 of those are internals and 2 are barbarian conquers
• The barbarian village is by far your largest conquer, more than 30 % larger than your next biggest
• The next biggest conquers are all internals
• There is only 1 non barb/internal conquer which is above 4000 points (16. Lalalala (525|504) K55 4,017)
• Sparks internalled a total of 5 villages in Uk9 so far, you internalled more than twice as much.
• This nobling pattern is far from impressive and certainly doesn't show you taking out "real threats". Are you capable of gaining or maintaining your rank without all that internalling (honest question, i don't know)? Even in a .uk world ?
  

Sparky is, in my past opinion spanning back 3-4 hours, a very good player and an extremely team centered one. To have someone come here who can't get a 4050 point ennoblement at the 120K stage without having to resort to internals and barb nobling try and talk her down is amusing.
If those stats are the best you can do, you can't hold a candle to sparks.
Please respond to this so I may tear you another one again.

/me defends cory

The acc pretty much died before 50k, farming ceased and we(leafy) and htla decided to merge for the lulz to get the 100k milestone.

And bringing Cory's TW skill into this is kinda pointless. Cory has proven to be a good player on uk and if I was to ask most people they would tell me the same about him on .net

You come here and tell me not to bring Cory's skill into question because " proven to be a good player on uk" most people would agree he was so in .net, but Cory comes here and questions Sparky's skills when Sparky has one scary track record of top accounts spanning from one village stage to 800 village stage. A track record which I wouldn't hesitate to say might well eclipse Cory's one (sparky has a leadership pedigree as well here).

So we do one of two things, either we compare their accounts on Uk9, whereby sparky's account and ennoblement record is a hell of a lot better than Cory's.
Or we bring in the past and compare past track records where Sparky's is one of the most glittering in tw community as a while (not downplaying Cory's one).

Either way stick to one standard, I never called Cory a bad player, I called HowToLoseAxes a poorly played account. This is something I base on that ennoblement record and according to such, I find my description accurate. Quitting at 50K is not really an explanation for that. Also Cory kinda said his intention was to win uk9 (couple pages back), that goes a big beyond aiming for 100K milestone and then quitting.

I can't really comment on how HTLA was run early doors as I wasn't on the account but from memory they regurarly had looter and held rank 1 for a long period of time plus I'm pretty sure cory, AP and wla know how to play.

The only mistake Cory made on HTLA account was that he started uk9 making a promise to stay active and win it. That's why he nobled almost everywhere in the map without caring about the distance between the villages, who is going to attack him (there was none) and stuff like that. He held rank1 but then he decided to quit (for whatever reason). So that account, with so distanced villages that cannot support each other efficiently, is doomed to fall. What Pervie here wants to summarize I believe, is that HTLA was played badly not that Cory generally is a bad player.

The account failed, whatever ranks it may climbed or how good was it's start up.

To start with if the the account stopped being active at 50K then how long could it have held rank 1 ? 1 village to 50K isn't very long (in terms of game progress).

The other one about looter is a chronic conceptual flaw in a lot of starters. Many many starters these days measure themselves in terms of how much they can loot.
It takes skill to farm extensively but farming is only a means to acquire the resources you need for troops and expansion. What you do with those troops and how you expand, how well you perform in wars, those are the achievements. Looter is broadly reflects an advantage towards gaining those achievements but ever since this awards system came into play, people have been thinking of it as achievement in itself, which it is most certainly not.

Well Pervis, my first two conquers were a tribal leader, and the player to first acquire a noblemen. The third was a player attacking the tribe. Again, real threats. The barbarians you mentioned were players that restarted upon incomings.

The reason my ennoblements are so "low" is because we had around 10+ nobles when others barely had a train. We grew very quickly (almost tripling rank 2?).

So why the huge internal situation? Simple, we knew morale was going to end. The idea was the merge the two accounts, and go on a noble spree once morale ended. At the time, nobling pretty much anyone meant less than 80% morale.

I didn't quit at 50k, I did more around 100k due to time constraints.

Lastly, there weren't flaws in my argument. It's nothing flawed that internalling at start up is a stronger discussion than 50-70+k. But yes, go ahead and try to "tear another one". You're shooting in the dark, and I can't blame you since you have no idea of the world beyond outside perception. I have nothing against your arguments, and I'm not saying Sparks is a bad player.
