mmm... Start up can only be learned through experience imo (Both on normal and on speed). In regards to normal and speed startup, no they're not too dissimilar. In normal you may need a few more spear right at the beginning. Also your lc groups should be far smaller than to what they might be like on speed. Also, mines are a lot more important on normal.
Although I'm happy to show the community the tactical side of the game, I'm afraid my startup must remain private. An entire server as good as me would be monstrous D: It would also be far too time consuming, as I have many different startups. They don't only differ on the speed, but also on the amount of barbs, the farm limit, the amount of players, my area, my join time etc.
