[Moved]How do i get a pic loaded?

Hey guys, can anyone help me out? its a nooby computer question :icon_eek:

i want to put a pic thats on my computer onto our tribe internal announcement.
There is a button called image but when i click it, it just shows this: [img]

I guess i have to load the pic from my computer onto the net and then i can post it right?
if so where can i load the pic? otherwise how do i get the pic there?

1) Go to an image sharing site like Imageshack

2) Upload your images to the site. For imageshack, click "Browse" to search for the picture on your computer, then "Start Upload!"

3) Copy the link generated into the tags.

Hope that's clear, if you need further instructions just ask :icon_biggrin:

EDIT: Some other image sharing sites you could use:

thank you for repling, but im having trouble still.

I uploaded the image onto that site and then copied the shortcut to the tribe private annoncement but when i preview all thats there is a shortcut, no pic. Hpw do i get the pic there?

Oh, you said you wanted to put a pic on your tribe's internal announcement. Yes, as Two-Face said, you can't do that. I really shouldn't skim-read questions before I answer them >.<

im not sure he was referring to you but it doesnt matter.

whats that image button for then if you cant put pics there?

No, he wasn't talking about you either. He was talking about the usual trolls who post in threads in the W1 forums which don't really belong there. Some people are likely to reply to your question with stupid answers or just "rofl" or "fail", because you posted your question in the W1 forum rather than the Questions forum, and Two-Face was just asking them not to do that in this thread.

you cant upload a pic into the internal bit I dont think

and if you mean external and its not working, do you have PA?
