[Moved]Paladin makes no difference

It appears that my paladin does not increase the speed of foot troops..so I am wondering if this is a glitch or part of the game process?

Someone please enlighten me?

:support: Paladin only increases speed for supporting troops.
:attack: If you're attacking, it won't make any difference.
