There is .net and 25 other worlds, 25 different lamguages, 25 different nat bonusses. It has and will always be like this. Adjusting the game to something you can already get somewhere else is ridiculous.

No one is denying you that right. However "when in Rome" you should accept the culture there rather than attempting to change it to suit your needs. If you did join the Dutch server, you would be expected to speak Dutch rather than English.
The UK server is designed to suit the needs of those from the UK. The Dutch server is designed to suit the needs of those from Holland. Without a night bonus, how would .uk be any different to .net? The night bonus serves the needs of UK players; their need to sleep at a decent time.
I know you must be sick of hearing this, but if you want an indiscriminate server when it comes to settings, I highly advise sticking to .net. Imagine if there was a .us, and an Austrailian complained about the night bonus as it didn't suit them; would you not be slightly annoyed?

Why quote such an old post, I was making that point as Americans do not have a server where they have night bonus.

With regards to the date, I apologize. JuliusCeasar apparently bumped an old thread and I missed it. However I don't believe that just because you do not have a server to call your own, the UK server should serve your country-specific needs.

People is bassicly asking for another .net. The UK server is obviously for the UK. We won't adjust the Night Bonus to your needs and we won't take it away as there's already a server like that.

No night bonus does not include barbarian villages as you will clearly see when you use a report against a barb/bonus village after an attack at night and try to simulate with it, it will not add the cross in the night bonus section, while against a player it would..
For thows without premium, I am pretty sure this has been asked and answered on the .net forums

However, I'd like to state to the UK players on this server: your night bonus is your downfall. As far as my understanding goes, Night bonus effects attacks based on when they land, not when they're sent, am I correct?
Have fun waking up to attacks landing a minute after the Night bonus ends, not knowing when it was sent.

When the americans make one, then you can have a night bonus on US time(apart from the time zone difference between eastern and western america which will keep you arguing all year long).... In the meantime .net has 39 worlds and (last I looked) about 14 of them open to new players, yes it is international but yes it provides a place for americans to play without night bonus active to that is suitable to a specific country...
It's an absolute no brainer:-
UK Server hs Uk time zone night bonus
German server has german time zone night bonus
french, romanian, dutch, greek, serbian ALL have a nght bonus to fit their timezones...
The clue is in the servers suffix..... .co.UK indicating that its primarily for uk based players but theres nothing to stop any nationality playnig IF they are happy to accept the settings of the world.
This server was set up with one of the main objectives of it having a UK NIGHT BONUS(to quote Tracey the community manager)...
If you don't like playing on UK time, don't play a UK Server. Simple as... Enough whinging already!

Precisely. US players actually have the advantage on medium distance attacks.
And the night bonus ends at 8 in the morning - who gets up at that time? :icon_wink:

This only holds true if your attack distance <8 hours (becomes more and more rare as the game progeresses) ... AND the player is offline for the entire night bonus(rare here)...
It is funny to wake up to 200 attacks frmo close range though if its end game and your on the front line.... better have stacked

The night bonus works absolutely fine.
If you can't manage to time an attack in the 16hours of day, to avoid the 8hours of night, then frankly, this isn't the game for you.

seriously...did you think before typing?
You are still awake for 16 hours are you not?
even if you are 8 hours ahead/behind, then you still have a window of 8 hours in which to time an attack.
The extreme example would be if you are awake at 8am uk time, and u attack some1 16hours away...then it will arrive at midnight...so u'd just have to attack at 7:59, getting up 1 minute earlier.
plus we are on a .co.uk server...so you can always go play elsewhere.
