Paladin Weapons

I couldn't find this out on the help page or the FAQ first post either.

Lets say I support a village with 2k swords, a paladin, and the sword weapon (increases the defensive power of swords by something like 30%) If there are already swords in the village, does the paladin increase the efficiency of those too?

I know this is something I should already know but I've never played on a world with paladin weapons until world 20.

Thanks, it's also the first archer world I'm playing. Still never played a church world though, always try to avoid new settings if I can.

Pally wep worlds can be great fun, church worlds suck though imo others would disagree, im not particularly fond of archer worlds either but i can bare them lol

It's probably a case of getting used to new settings, I checked the rules out for church worlds and what they do etc. Brings a new dynamic into the game but it's not something I'd enjoy tbh.
