I don't see ORC, TR, UFA, EPIC so that suggests things have changed. There have been mergers but it's not always the case. I guess the one thing that hasn't largely changed is that it's been (most of) the world v W1N at some point or other.

Erm pagey don't 100% understand that post but I only play w10 now.
And reef, w1 has always been mergers...
Rank 2 and 4 merged quite early (che!! And vodka!)
Then the only 2 decent tribes in the world merged (che!! And w1n)
There were plenty of merges after that but I suck with names

True there have been mergers but there've also been quite a few wars of attrition too. At the time of the W1N/CHE! merge, you still had ORC, LRAG, TR, KGM who could all have easily made things difficult as a collective.
At the end of the day, W1N has always been a singular tribe (waits for the inevitable) fighting against multiple enemies on numerous fronts so I guess in line with your point that "nothing has changed" I actually agree with you.
The "W1N fail" aspect holds no water though and the stats says all that needs to be said.

I didn't say w1n were a fail tribe I merely stated them merging (again) with their biggest threats was a fail

w1n had no real need to merge with FPB unless the reason was to win the world as fast as possible.
If W1N as you have pointed out hold all the top players and have been rank 1 for so long surely they could have just rimmed the bunnies?

Reef, I really think the claim that W1N is battling against the rest of the world is so hollow as W1N already own most of it, with 56% of player villages (and are adding loads of barbs every day)...

Ha ha that is so true and funny too boot!
W1N still try to play the victim card the world hate us - when in effect they have recruited half the world.
Have heard from a few ex F.P.B players that W1N took cows in because they knew they could not fight T4H ALONE.
Also they try to justify their actions by saying they are fighting the top 2 tribes, when in other threads all u hear them saying is that LRAG are rubbish.
looks to me like W1N are turtling, another thing they berated other tribes for!
Its a shame the show down was not prue W1N/T4H that would have been a very interesting fight to watch.
Instead we have W1N cobbled together in a mass recruitment stratergy - Poor show W1N
Not a good way to win any world

Not sure at what point I said we were fighting against overwhelming odds - if you can point that out, I'd be much obliged - but we are fighting against more or less everyone else so that point still stands.
As for turtling, don't be an idiot. Check the stats. Look at the ODA and the current war against T4H. For as long as I've been in the tribe (and before) we've been at war with multiple tribes.
So, by your logic every tribe should be the original players and no recruitment? W1N have rarely had the 100 member maximum just good, long-term diplomacy. Why are you so unhappy? I guess it's because you're either not in this world or currently losing to us badly.
To your other comic points, why would I be glum? I'm almost 50 vils up against a tribe who talked about making this a war to be remembered. So far it's a massacre and watching random forum members whine about it is a nice little motivator too.
As for the joy? Well after 2 years of starting as a clueless noob and working towards finishing as a winning clueless noob, I guess I'd like to see things wrapped up. It's something the quitters can't understand.
I'll leave you to speculate. Enjoying the comics, though.
