[tt]Thar and I have discussed at length the way forward with scripts.
As you all know we have been more selective in what we will and will not allow here on .UK.
Last night we found the person we were looking for in Tarran.Walker, he will be taking over the script section in a couple of weeks when he returns from his holiday.
Now onto our plans for this section.
Tarran has excellent javascript skills, and what we plan is for him to wirte a complete set of scripts that will be allowed on .UK. Players will be able to submit requests for scripts if they fall within the rules. Once these scripts have been written, then they will become the only scripts allowed on here. Any third party script will be deemed in breach of the rules and punished as such.
The main reason for this development is simple ease of use for everyone, this includes not just you the players, but us the moderators.
Now im sure that many of you will have lots to say regarding this, and we are prepared to listen to your views but the outcome will not change, this is something that we feel very strongly about and this is one way in which everyone uses the same scripts.
