why have so many chosen speed 400?
as Sam said i think theyre more minewhores who voted that.and high unit speed makes dodging attack of someone who is next to you almost impossible.

Fast rounds promote minewhoring, slower rounds involve more farming which many speed players like to avoid.

The entire point of speed is to play with speed. Waiting two or three minutes for a farm run to hit and come back is boring.

Its just a faster version of normal TW worlds that way, whilst "speed" is an entire different game.

Err? There's a reason there are speed rounds that are 20x and 50x, there are actually people that prefer the "faster version of normal TW" rather than mine whoring. In fact, that's the case for over 95% of the "good" players that I know, including those that can do quite well on speed 400 when they want to.

Personally i minewhore AND farm on faster rounds, and speed players don't "like" to avoid farming. If your a good player you know how to do it quickly and effectively. Book mark farming for example, ever wonder how people get such huge leads? It's because once they bookmark all their farms they can have them going out constantly, making it easier ;)

5.0 troop speed? lol, don't think it would happen! Would probably crash the server or something lol.

I think he means .5 unless he's being ridiculous. Troop speed of 5 on a 150 speed world is just asking for server issues.

Having the new rounds start at sensible times during the week would be good. Fair enough if it's like 8-10am, but 12pm is rather annoying. I will be at work, but will miss the start by near 2 hours!

Would seem much more logical to start it around 4PM? When more people are online, and therefore willing to play due to not being at a disadvantage. Anyone else agree?

Rounds should be created by those who play and have experience in what works best not a random from a different server/world who has little experience in speed and doesn't know what makes it 'fun'. It's easy to throw statistics around but you should be in game and seeing how many different members join depending on the settings.

Also, 'cause I'm a child I voted for everything.
