Well, i thought i'd be new, and make a starting location thread. Comment on your starting location in the format below;

I have at least 3 players who's name I recognise, two who are good, and one who I suspect will be clearing me in a few weeks.

Oh, and my nearest barb is a 1 hour 20 minute farming trip.
