here's my opinon
1 w1nge tthey beat ipod even tough ipod were bigger and were ment to be the best when the war started plus they took a tribe half there points right down to one 15th of there points
2GO seem to be up and down at war with fate i think don't look like tey are doing much same for there phx war
3 FATE seem to be doing pretty well agianst dogs go and mad
4 HONEY apperntly they are getting beaten up by dogs so i was a bit dissapinted
5 DOGS i think they have done pretty well lately
6 MAD in war with fate but are still growing strong
7 TIME amazing tribe
8=GA= seem preety strong in there k
9PHX at war with go but seem to be holding strong
10 H D wonder what would happen if shrew left

Oh Pirates! Do love a tribe of pirates sailing from villa to villa all talking in the present tense but alas their member's names are sadly not that piratical though recognise a few names (one has great taste in villa names) but alas I fear our swashbuckling friends might be soon beached without any rum not because they getting munched by Dogs, Fate and Honey (though takes skill to be eaten by three tribes waring each other!!) but more because they have this on their tribal profile which is just a come hither and noble me thing really

Nearly as bad as having that helpful How to Start a war guide you see sometimes about what happens if you scout one of their members or recruit or say a naughty word.
Other reason they are doomed as almost all barbs being taken. Sack your diplomat eat red dots not sure you;ll live too much longer but promise you will be more fun. Oh they are located NE if you looking for them!

The Elite! Well straight away you note the difference on their profile (see is a war game!) and so think have right idea so lets look at their caps and see! Well odd barb but a lot of red dots being munched and look active too. Tight location on cusp of Honey, Time and W1NGE and teaching BW a few lessons.

Here Be Dragons! Oh er but actually have spoken to their leader and was ok didn't get even lightly crisped and (note this Pirates) some of their members named after Dragons too! Genius. Located in the deep south and had an alliance with HUNTER (now known as PAIN) but quickly ended this after seeing had been fibbed too.
Alas mostly eating barbs but position not really that great for them.

Another North Eastern Rim tribe (actually sounds a fun spot to be) but these guys are the drunken Irish tribe so diplo would be superb (maybe) for the skype chat. Small membership decent acc size (for their location) but again lots of barbs being taken and will having Shaneyboy save them? With a few inactives am thinking probs no but is early days for them. One to watch

Ok this lot are SW rim and in a few clusters which may or may not be part of their masterplan to take out FATE from the rear! Alas on caps it looks like FATE and MADS are wise to them and are eating them first and worse lots of tiny barbs being gobbled by the Death Sleepers
Um think though Pushty is here honing his skills for UK10 and the return of O.O this experiment is doomed to fail.

Due North in a decent cluster nestling over DOGS and see no caps against them but they have taken villas off Honey and DOGS. All active so will see where they go.

I'll have you know we're starting to bite back at Armani, however our clusters near Fate and MAD are a bit too isolated for my liking. (You wouldn't believe the pathetic nukes we've seen from MAD though... I've seen pure axes, massed MA, Hell, I've even seen 100 rams sent without an escort! As for Armani, had a few chuckles there too, we owe most of our ODD to their defence nukes).
Yes, the conditions I told the original co-founder and barons, (All of whom scarpered after the unpleasant process of either rimming or time consumption), was that this was for fun only, hence us aiming high with =GA=, MAD and Fate.

I've been raiding a few of there members for a long time and nothing was done. I think a lot of the ones I was hitting never went near their forums though.
when I finally went in for the noble they got their act together a little and defended. although I then got attacked by a mix of Offensive and defensive troops which was a fail, he practically cleared himself for me, although I was still weak from losing most my units anyway so couldn't take advantage of it.
from what I've seen they're not very good, although I've only seen a small amount of their lower end players so could be wrong.
out of the current top 10 I can only really judge 2 of them
W1NGE - good tribe who work well together and seem to win all wars
Time - great tribe, well co-ordinated and 100% wars won so far. and full of great members. (warning - may be biased as I'm in this tribe)

yes but a merge would imply that we join forces, and that thier leadership is represented here in honey. its not they acknowledge our potential they also believe that they are join ing a more supreme tribe and they as players decided they would thrive under our principles. this has nothing to do with merging that is a completely different concept. if you notice i also recruited some of thier smaller active passionate players, these imo are the ones regardless of points that will thrive within the game. as with any recruiter/leader that recruits many factors go in to this.

But I will call it a merge. Or an amalgamation. Or a takeover. Really doesn't matter. You mentioned they are / will not part of your leadership, and I would say for you that's probably a good thing as they certainly left the remainder of BW out to dry so to speak.
You "recruited" people looking for safety from an ongoing war and from imminent attacks from other larger tribes. I call it "harboring refugees". Doesn't really surprise me. After working reasonably closely with one of your members I had held the utmost respect for the way I thought your tribe played the game.
I'll get flamed for this. I don't really care. It's a game of war and not hugs after all. Send your spear nukes at will and we shall defend with our battle hardened axes.

lol if you had any idea at all you would realise that honey is currently warring multiple tribes so to suggest that these players are 'running to us for safety' means you obviously have no idea about me, i would not take those that do not fight, and i personally think youve probably never spoken to these players as they are far from frightened troops lovers scared to send them to thier deaths!

UK3 forums are ---> that way. This is the Uk8 forum. What relevance UK3 has here is beyond me...Do enlighten me though.
"Recruiting" BW (certainly the larger players and throwing in a few of the smaller players to make it all look good on paper) was a brilliant move. You gain ground / villages / points without needing to create "another" war (since you have so thoughtfully informed me you are in many)
for someone venturing into a merger one would surely look at stats. to see the people they were merging with. After all you'd want some idea of the quality of players they were bringing it to their supreme tribe as you call it. Assuming you did this homework you don't really need me to answer the refugee question.

You have then evolved that into what we have now by needing to state that it actually wasn't a merger but a crafty recruiting strategy.
