uk50 - anything special?

Question / discussion for the community and the mods here...

Looking at the run-time of w49, it does seem as though the opening of a new world is imminent. That will be uk50, so something of an anniversary world for the .uk server.

I wonder, what would people like to see for this world?

And, more for mods, given you'll be wanting the capitalise on increased player numbers due to the current irl circumstances, will the details of this world be released in good time? You seem to only give 48 hours notice these days.

Who knows, this ould see some of the old .uk faces come and play. It would be great to hear who might be interested (although all o your forum accounts, like mine, will have been deleted.. *sad*).

Cheers, had a look an couldn't see it earlier; not on the forum or obvious on the homepage - could be me and my ageing eyes.

Settings look like fun. Although, I have to say, I was hoping for a pure 'classic' list of settings for uk50 as some sort of anniversar special. But they look fine nevertheless.

Agree on the RIP farming. Although unlikely it would've been nice to see a throwback world.

On the above:

Tribe limit - 20 is the best number personally. Yes it opens up to multiple families, but a good group of 20 players I'll take every time.
World speed - not bothered, always been happy with 1/1
Scavenging - big nope
Archers - big nope

@Eriswell - barbs should be 1.5k max (2k if they really have to be). I also wouldn't have bonus villas either. Bonus and 3k barb growth encourages the nobling of them too much.

Liking the look of the settings.

Definitely prefer speed 2 though.
Maybe no watchtowers as well ;)

We should bear in mind that these are only provisional, so hopefully no scavenging personally.

Also, i have never heard of a watchtower...

I could happily do 1.5-2K but I'd like a 20 member limit. Cannot stand all this family hugging crap. It's boring.

Interesting I was never really a fan of the pally at all - especially not the with bonfire... But if we had to have it, would prefer no weapons or the old ones like you suggest.

The chances of the PP market being disabled are very small sadly.

Bonfire was OP but that was the fun of it :D
