Guess I post my history, its eventful even though I joined W1 in april of 2010. Started out as a leader of a small tribe known as LpL and had little competion for decent villas nearby, mainly deleted players barbs. Then I happened to make the mistake of infuriating the majority of KnK with the exceptions of burnrubber and kingtaz lol. Had 50k points on me going against a few Mil of KnK, did pretty well in the begining since only 1 of them put claims on my villages and attacked alone. Learned plenty about defensive combat taking out their nukes, after a week my defenses faltered and lost a few good villas but managed to hold on to one village that stood through the whole show and several smaller villas that got catted down in attacks. Then I decided to have a laugh and while a nearby KnK guy sent a nuke to a small villa far away from him I hit the guy with a close range nuke+noble a few times while the troops were at play and almost got him too
. Went down to 3 villas for a long while and came back by joining up with OM so I could retake my lost villages and inactives, which went very well. After most went inactive I joined up with the small tribe Wulffs for a bit of a rest. Then I happened to have a chat with PAULBEZ about taking his claims and then I asked if I could join the merry crew at T4H(and I did get in the tribe ). Then the history gets fun, I joined with 230k points and after 2 weeks I was up to 430k. Now I jumped up to where I am by taking the villages of any with the misfortune of being nearby. I may not have the long history as the rest of you fellows, but I admire your progress through this world

My IGN is EmeraldDarksider, ranked 83rd or so in T4H. Most of the ODD came from KnK's generous sacrifices of their nukes running into "Surprises"

Anyone remember me? :L I'm not playing so probably shouldn't actually be posting... but y'know I've very busy with exam revision... so I accidently on purpose distracted myself with having a look at how W1 is doing
I'm not on twstats anymore as its been ages
Haven't seen any ex TR players that I recognise :S did y'all at W1N and stuff eat them all up?
W1 was kinda my second world but my first real world. I'd joined world 17 or something on .net years ago to give TW a try... and failed rather badly... I think basically I got invited into a tribe 2 Ks across early game... and then they were nowhere near to support me... and I was a noob
A few RL friends of mine started UK1 and asked me to join them in their tribe. I thought I'd give it a go. I started in K42. The tribe was Minkey :L we did ok.. but I don't think my friends have much mid or late game experience anyway for a while we were #1 or #2 in the K which was quite nice...
Then the tribe Manic or something came along and there was a guy called Mrchief and another AngelDemonBoi or something (been a while)
They were aggressive etc... and actually had quite an annoying diplomacy tactic... Dunno if it was put on but they were very good at good cop/bad cop.. one minute it looked like I had an agreement with Angel... next day login and Mrchief is threatening war!
But yeah... My friends weren't doing too well with running minkey anyway. One of them suddenly disbanded the tribe without any warning and then I was left to try and pick up the pieces. I managed to get some of the players I'd got to know quite well to join Manic with me. Some of the others joined one of the tribes that was later to be one of the Legions etc but yeah we got dispersed around.
In Manic. I worked for the good of the tribe, but wasn't happy... and although it was better run than Minkey it was... weird....
I'd had a bit of dealings with the tribe I knew as LLK (Lord Lazlos Knights) but not much... they started with a presence in north K42 but they were expanding.
I can't remember what happened next... but I know I moved to LLK/TR and Manic. got nobled. I remember MrChief loosing his mojo on the externals
I know TR had a lot of negative PnP near the end... but I will still say - even if I'm a lone voice - that it was a good tribe.
We didn't start off a family tribe :L. It was led by some good guys, and I learnt a huge lot from them. And we were successful.. we took quite a few Ks in the west and were the dominant force in the western Outer Core/Inner rim.. whatever you call the area K41/2/3ish and out.
Basically we did a couple of merges which led us to have TR and TR. but that was ok... we were doing well.. and it was all being managed very well. I wasn't too pleased with the whole thing with big players getting first choice about villages in wars that happened later :L dunno if it was standard practice but it let to two faced gits like King K getting their pick of villages they wanted even if it made sense for some of the good, but smaller player to take them (excuse my pseudo-french)
Basically we ended up merging again in the South... and that didn't work out and it got to the stage where I didn't know people any more... and there were too many different groups of players really and the excellent management began slipping.
I still think T4H should have joined us against W1N... it would have been in both of our interests (if not W1N's!)
When war happened W1N got some of the larger players to hop over to them... which kinda signed our death warrant as the whole big players getting first choice thingy meant that medium players like me hadn't been able to position ourselves in a way that we could defend our villages from local threats... I had raised that but was told I was surrounded by tribemates so it was no issue :L
To be honest I don't envy W1N for getting King K... in TR he only seemed to work for his own gain... not the tribe's (and an interest in the tribes welfare as a whole was one thing that made us strong while we were)
But yeah... at this point I had exams of some sort so set someone as sitter... but with the W1N war right on my doorstep of my main cluster ETC I ended up offering my villages to be internal'd and left as I didn't have the time with exams
I still miss W1.. I was quite good at predicting what would happen politically
I guess the only main predicion I made that turned out wrong was that W1N would war with Che!!... shame that as it threw my predictions about W1N's position being unsustainiable
Basically in general W1N you're far from perfect.. but you did a good job... and playing T4H off against TR was a good move. I don't think what happened in K33 was very well managed by you guys though... and you left yourselves very vunerable at that point. But the gamble paid off.
All that remains is for me to wish you all the very best who are left in W1.
I'm not up to date with the latest developments.... but LRAG seem to be putting up a good fight... looking at the dominance map (and appreciating that it's often hard to gain significant ground at this stage) I would say that if W1N were able to take the K7/North17 area that chunk of LRAG would struggle given it'd be cut off... just a thought... if you defeat one front then obv you can concentrate on others... but I know you're big and have players fighting on all fronts who wouldn't have anything to do if you won the north
K22 looks interesting
Also T4H.. Learn from history... Declaring on FPB isn't really in your interest as you start to take hard fought villages so will W1N... and W1N's bigger than you so will probably do it faster! *sighs* some people never learn!
I know I've been brutal about TR in some aspects but it was a good tribe... there was a lot of Revisionism by W1N when there was that war going on... TR kept quiet on the forums so W1N had control of the recorded narrative!
Serious appologies to the mods as I bet this post probably branches several threads. I thought it would be on topic to talk about what happened to my account - but I also included other stuff so sorry if I've made your job harder!
Feel free to ignore any tactical reccomendations I made (apart from T4H - you guys need to learn Yeah turtles deshelling blah de blah but you're only helping W1N's position) as I'm just looking at a big map and haven't looked at stats and have no idea how the various wars are going.

So not the original account then lol.
I started this account in August 2009 after seeing it on facebook- got rimmed in the early days by Sammyk and his bunch of bully boys lmao He then took pity on me and helped me rebuild. I've made many friends on this game and met up some for a few drinks (and they can certainly drink!). I consider some of the players to be real friends - not just internet friends. Have been trying to leave the game for over a year now.. but it's sadly addictive and I guess I'm sticking with my pals til the end.

W1N has easily been my Fav tribe ( funny how its nothing like what people say it`s like )
Looking forward to Finishing this world and getting my life back. I`ve been frontline since I started this game and still am.
Met a load of really good / and some not so good people on here.
Never had a co unlike what some people thought. lol
In the end its only a game.
But I always play to W1N.
