The first is correct and the 2nd is no longer correct.....it was written in the early 1800's ! and tbh hasn't been very relevant since the deaths of Hitler and Stalin. We now have peacekeeping forces (both UN and NATO) all over the world proving that the first quote is now the standard we all thrive to live in. This therefore makes anyone who still believes the 2nd quote a dinosaur and shows that your all taking this "game" too seriously

Diplomacy is the art and practice of conducting negotiations between representatives of groups or states. It usually refers to international diplomacy, the conduct of international relations

I'm not actually arguing the fact that going to war is a diplomatic stance....just that it would be a complete failure of diplomacy, or clash of personalities that make these wars happen. Mostly the latter lol. Also, the fact that you dont need to introduce yourself as a Diplomat/Duke or whatever to declare war :swordsman:. It just gets done without any of the pleasantries you would normally associate with any kind of diplomatic relations !!

So, an update on everyone's thoughts?
Now that Ipod have an alliance with Honey? 1st and 2nd merge, this new superpower 1st allies with 3rd ranked tribe.

Has this ruined the world or made it more fun?

Made it more fun definatly. Now there is basically a world war with all the tribes in an alliance and fighting Honey and iPod. I have numerous trains inbound now so it is fun! (even if Nation's trains are 50 seconds apart (noble 1 to noble 4)

Interesting world now , thought it may be a bit of a merge / win situation , but deff not now ... this limit has given it a certain edge methinks

I may be wrong .... but I think to show your hand too early can lead to a moderate pot win , but a major tournament fail

Hey My name is Annihilated and I like to post dumb stuff to try and seem cool.

22:11 The tribe has withdrawn their peace offering to W1NGE.

I will repeat maybe it will sink in.

When you learn a little more about the game and IF you ever get any ingame privs you will realise that the offer peace button and view war stats button are right next to each other and its pretty common to hit the wrong button.

Who are you in-game?

You have clearly not played many worlds and clearly haven't been in many wars if you think that a tribe offering peace and then withdrawing within a minute of it is the tribe actually offering peace and not just a mistake? The amount of times it has happened to tribes I have been on in other worlds is ridiculous.. But you know, we don't go onto the PnP thread's or better yet any random external thread and paste it there as if the other tribe is giving up!
