so when he does noble the village he has higher mines in his first village than most of the barb munchers (me include) and then has higher mines in the ex limitless village then most of the noble rushers, troops can be replaced, buildings can be rebuilt, Might not be the best mathematical/practical started up but steps were taken as a tribe to protect the member from a player outgrowing everyone.
Long term gain over short term lose, we at W.G have each others backs so bickomad1 was never at any point vulnerable imo.
before i retired from the forum, I've not known Bickomad1 for long but not for one second has he ever shown hints of an ego, he only enjoyed the fact he had the balls to take him on and had fun doing it, can't say i would have in his place.

Letting someone who was rank 1 at the time and who had the highest mines in the world (going on AP's prediction there) get the benefit of x-mas break etc... to troop build more than anyone else could of, why wait to be cleared when you can turn the tables ?,

Seeing that someone is already out growing you, how can you continue to chase them with limited hauls, yes he could of continued to Mine whore and build off. slowly but he took steps to not become his prey, Limitless is a good player why would you allow someone of the skill so close to you to remain number 1 when you know he was mine whoring so likely hood was he wasn't troop building but his troop count was just as good as his points so he was taken out.
I'm going to take a leap of faith here and guess Bickomad1 doesn't care about points ?, he knew it wasn't profitable and it still isn't but he would rather take him out while he could and stay in this world then end up being limitless noble target.
so cats was the way to make him quit, nobles were not in play, limitless reaction to losing his Off. on his very good timed back time was to say well done, he quit with our respect but left someone account sitting him who kept rebuilding no matter what he catted, in hind sight we might have played things differently but the mind set at the time was Kill or be killed.
Might not of been the best/effective way to deal with the problem but it worked.
Assassin has pretty much summed it up, and he knows the situation just as well as me. I apologise for my late posting I just rarely use the externals and stumbled across this while bored last night.
1. jmaxspeed~ Up 1 rank from my last post, with a 2,466 point lead over rank 2. Sitting comfortably at ranked 1 due to nobling two nice internal villages. Nobled his second internal on the 3rd of January and hasn't nobled since, probably growing and building troops. His main village has HQ 21 (quite recently upgrading it from 20), wall 20, Academy and 28/28/26 mines. His second village also has HQ 21 (again, recent upgrade), 26/27/23 mines, Academy and barracks 16. His third village has HQ 20, Academy and 25/26/25 mines. He built academy in his third village after nobling it, which suggests he did it for points as not much point in having an Academy in every village. HAs extremely low OD (160), which likely means his troops, if he has any, haven't suffered any losses.
2. Harry Mint~ 10 week old infant racing up the ranks, new to the top twenty so 18+ ranks compared to my last post with a 58 point lead over rank 3. Nobled a nice 4.2k village, and, shock horror, it wasn't a gift :icon_eek: . Gained some ODA in nobling, but also had increase in ODA before that so unsure how much of that was on his target. Nobled on the 5th and hasn't nobled since, so will likely noble soon or will be waiting to build up his villages. His main has HQ 20, Academy and 29/29/25 mines while his second village has HQ 21 (Upgraded before nobled), smithy 20 and 29/30/25 mines.
3. Nibbler~ New to the top twenty compared to my last post, so 17+ ranks and a 479 point lead over rank 4. Nobled a 4.7k internal village on the 2nd of January and hasn't nobled since, however he had a 6k spike in ODA on the 5th so possibly tried to noble again but it went bad? His likely target had a 10k spike in ODD so it seems Nibbler has lot a fair amount of troops, and will slow his growth even after getting a gift. His main village has HQ 20, Academy, 26/27/24 mines and a level 18 barracks. His second village has HQ 20, Academy, 30/30/27 mines and a level 20 barracks. Seems he is focusing on troops after losing a fair chunk of it.
4. misschiff~ Down 3 ranks from my last post, with a 155 point lead over rank 5. Nobled a 2.4k internal village quite a while ago, on the 28th of December and hasn't nobled since. Has a total OD of 1, probably gained from the barb attacking quest, so hasn't made an attempt on nobling anyone else. Possibly due to a lack in troops due to feeding his second village? His main village has HQ 20, Academy, 29/30/25 mines. His second village has HQ 20, Smithy 20 (He has an academy when I'm writing this, but not at the time when I took rankings. So again, someone else going for points unless his second village is offense and first is defense?) and 27/27/25 mines.
5. Cero Puccol~ Down 2 ranks from my last post, with a 527 point lead over rank 6. Nobled a 2.5k, non-gift village on the 29th of December and hasn't nobled since. Gained 3k ODA upon nobling but no gains since, suggesting he hasn't tried to noble again. His main village has HQ 20, Academy and 28/28/26 mines. His second village had HQ 20, Smithy 20 and Academy; Academy, amongst other villages, was catted shortly before ennoblement but he has since rebuilt Academy; seems to have a level 22 barracks, 18 wall and 26/27/24 mines.
6. Indecisive Nubs~ New to the top twenty compared from my last post, so 14+ ranks with a 403 point lead over rank 7. Nobled a 2.7k village on the 3rd of January and a 3.2k village on the 4th of January. The 3.2k village was nobled off him 4 hours later by Cinco Anti; making him the first top twenty player to lose a village (I think?). He gained virtually no ODA from nobling either of his two targets, suggesting they were gifts or he took advantage of a situation. He consequently gained 21k ODD after having lost the village, though not too many personal losses due to tribal support. His main village has HQ 20, Academy, Barracks 17 and wall 19, with 30/30/25 mines. His second village has HQ 19, Barracks 19, Wall 19 and 27/28/25 mines. High walls suggests he may be expecting attacks soon?
7. Gruz~ New to the top twenty compared to my last post, so 13+ ranks with a 448 point lead over rank 8. Nobled a 3.8k (non-gift) village on the 6th of January, gaining 4k ODA in the process. His main village has HQ 20, Academy, wall 20 and 27/28/24 mines. His second village has HQ 20, Academy, 18 barracks and 26/26/24 mines.
8. Born2Noble~ New to the top twenty compared with my last post, so 12+ ranks with a 223 point lead over rank 9. Nobled a 3.5k village on the 3rd of January and hasn't nobled since. Unsure if it was a gift or not; it was from different tribes but he only had a 100 ODA increase and his target only had a 700 ODD increase. I think it's likely that he was lucky and was able to noble after his target had lost his troops or his troops were outside his village. His main village has HQ 20, Academy and 25/25/24 mines. His second village has HQ 20, Academy and 27/27/24 mines.
9. timmyturtle~ Down 1 rank from my last post, with a 51 point lead over rank 10. Nobled 2 100% clay bonus barbs, one on the 27th of December and one on the 3rd of January. Has absolutely no ODA and very little ODD. His main village has HQ 20, Academy and 30/30/29 mines. His second village has HQ 20 and 24/24/20 mines. His third village is too small to predict. Highest ranking player who nobled just barbs.
10. slippery~ New to the top twenty compared with my last post, so 10+ ranks with a 61 point lead over rank 11. Nobled a 3.2k internal village on the 6th of January and hasn't nobled since. His ODA hasn't increased in a while, but is quite high (6.7k) and he recently had a 6.6k spike in ODD, on the 4th of January. Unsure where the ODD came from given the fact he nobled a gift. His main village has HQ 20, Academy, Barracks 18, Stable 11 and 26/26/24 mines. His second village has HQ 20, Academy and 23/24/22 mines.
2 of the top ten players are in each of Quest! (+2 players), BOGOF (+1 player) and BRENT (+ 1 player) and 1 each in -V- (-1 player), ARMGDN (no change), C2H5OH (+1 player) and Magic (no change).
4 of the top twenty players are in Quest! (no change), 3 each in BOGOF (+2 players) and BRENT (+2 players), 2 in ARMGDN (+1 player) and 1 each in -V- (-1 player), Magic (-1 player), Titans (no change), L-S (no change), ABAD (no change), IWL (+1 player) and LTD (no change)
There is now a huge gap between rank 1 and 20 of 5264 points (+2745 points), requiring the rank 20 player to noble a very big target to be able to overtake rank 1. I think by next week rank 1 will have doubled rank 20, depending on what gets nobled. There are now 7 tribes present in the top ten (-2 tribes) and 11 tribes present in the top twenty (-2 tribes), with some tribes being clearly dominant in the player rankings. 2 people in the top twenty have 3 villages, the rest have 2 villages so there is a negligible difference in the number of villages; however has decent targets they can noble with minimum losses will excel.
Here is my review/opinion on the top 3 (was going to do 5 but was taking a long time).
1. jmaxspeed
Currently sitting nicely in the number uno spot with a nice barrier between number two, especially considering he hasn't nobled in over a week.
Looking at his past history from W10 he has already gone above and beyond what he achieved on that world, where he only managed to noble two villages albeit players villages before being taken out.
So far on this world both villages have been gifted, of which there has been much debate as to the fairness of. Looking at his opponents defeated (ODA = 159, ODD = 1) he hasn't had to put up much of a fight either. This puts him in a pretty strong position, with most probably the highest income of all the players in the world and no losses of troops so far (unless he's been supporting tribe maters). I foresee him staying in the top 5 for at least the next few weeks assuming he is a moderately good player.
2. Indecisive Nubs
Has recently taken the number two spots having just taken his third village. The account is an alias, so no hope for looking at his past, however considering the 'reputation' that goes with quest! the assumption can be made that he's probably done something right on a past world.
So far has nobled 3 villages, however has also lost a village. All three villages have been players (the third village had become barb by the time of the nobling). The loss was taken quickly after the second village was taken. It can also be seen that a large amount of ODD has been earned, current at 22,505 which either shows he had a lot of defense, or plenty of tribe support. Interesting to notice that the ODA is very low (1,091) so the players nobled either had no troops or they were in fact gifts. I think he will drop back down the rankings over the next week, but should be back up here at some point in the future. 3. pizzahappy
Has grown very quickly over the past week now that nobles have kicked in and has taken the third spot. To come from rank 108th to 3rd in the space of 8 days is quite an achievement. Looking at his past, is either an alias or is new to this game and playing it well. Both nobles have been of players and both look to be legit (don't look like gifts and actually has ODA associated with them). All three villages look nicely positioned and he has fellow tribe mates to work with. I hope he does well on this world and would be my vote on surprise players to do well.
The whys and the hows of why they went to Turtle then left and then quit you would need to ask them but failure you can scrub off your list though I do know some reasons....

1) Gotcha! - 16,142 points lead on rank 2. Has been back at rank 1 for 12 days now. High ODA which is always good, Mayb needs abit more ODD tho? :icon_wink: With regards to enoblements, He's had at least 3 gifted villages. But majority appear to be battled for which is good to see.
He currently holds most villages in the world and has half decent APV.

3) FatIgor - One of the newest members of BOGOF. 10,028 Points ahead of rank 4. High ODA as well yet with next to no ODD. Seems like someone has had an easy life so far, but how long will it last before people claw back? Enoblemnets show 3 barbs and at least 1 internal.
Villages all located close to tribe with enough room for further expansion.
4) Jokernetik - 1,047 Points ahead of rank 5. Jumped from WC to BRENT for 9 days and then Jumped back to WC.. Nearly as bad a tribe hopper as Indecisive nubs :lol: High ODA which is a good sign for a top 5 player. Enoblments show 1 barb and 2 possible internalled villages.
Villages are located to the south of k55 and fairly isolated from the main bulk of the tribe. Leaving plenty of room for expansion but vunerable to attack with little support.
5) Alexw - One of the newest members of BRENT. 1,935 Points ahead of rank 6. Decent ODA, but rank 1 in ODD. Looks to have been hit hard over a period of time. Which could easily suggest a real lack of troops left over within the tribe if they been hit hard enough.
Enoblements show 1 barb, 3 barbed quit villages, and 2 inactive villages. All clustered rather nicely close to his new tribe. Has little room to expand in as he faces the clusters of KO to the south and AFA to the north
6) Bazza The Brave - One of the newest members of WC. 341 Points ahead of rank 7. Half decent ODA, with low ODD. Shows hes luckily had an easy run this world.
He has been quoted to be a lone ranger who dusnt help out much which is sad to hear indeed. Enoblements show 3 barbs and 1 quit player.
Fairly isolated from the main bulk of the tribe along with another member, which gives them the room to expand but with a fair few clustered tribes around them it'll be interesting to see who they target
7) --DIE-- - 2,021 Points ahead of rank of rank 8. Half decent ODA and fairly low ODD. Last 4 enoblements have been against DOOM, is this a war without PnP? :icon_surprised:
Other Enoblements show 1 barb and 2 barbed quit players. Villages are clustered fairly well. Close to tribe with enough room to expand. Yet there is a strong precense of magic around there which could make things interesting.
8) Assassin222 - 580 Points ahead of rank 9. Appears to be a faithfull member of W.G as he has been with them since november. Has half decent ODA and fairly low ODD. Enoblements show 2 barbs and 1 internal. Currently holds the highest AVP in the top 10.
Villages appear rather spread out which allows for alot better expansion but leaves you more vunerable. Tribe are located fairly close by which is helpfull.
9) sb007ck - 2,134 Points ahead of rank 10. Decent ODA with no ODD. I think his defense is rather bored this world and may need to be tested.
Enoblements show 1 barb and the rest potentially fought for. But with such low ODA, either they had little troops or he is hidding a few gifts :icon_eek:
Villages are fairly clustered together and the tribe are close by too. With only his south being free to expand he runs the risk of being blocked in which'll stunt his growth
10) Worf201 - Another new member of BRENT. Holding onto Top 10 by 313 Points. Has fairly low ODA and ODD.
Enoblements show 5 barbs and 2 really low pointed players which may explain the low ODA.. scared to kill troopies? :icon_razz: He also has the lowest APV in the top 10
Villages are fairly spread and he is isolated from his tribe. Prolly the most vunerable player in the top 10. On the plus side he has alot of expansion room :lol:
So in the top 10 we have; 2 in BOGOF, 2 in WC, 2 in BRENT, and 1 each in m AFiA, W.G, ~R~ and ~TIR~
In the top 20 we have; 5 in W.G, 4 in Magic, 3 in BOGOF, 3 in WC, 2 in BRENT, and 1 each in m AFiA, ~R~ and ~TIR~
That concludes my review of the top 20 Players, Next time my post will be longer and in more detail as i compare the stats from my previous posts and shizz.
