Hi Rex,

Just wanted to show the world your double standards once again and why no one should ever trust a word you say! Below is a copy of the introduction mail a player receives when joining the ORC family. I have highlighted a few key sentences which I feel really shows us how much fun the ORC tribe is!

WOW OH WOW!!!! That is a LOT of rules! Are those rules there to ensure that you all have fun? Is it organised fun you have over there in ORC? lol

I can say now that W1N has no such rules and we actually let our members join for FUN, which we consider to be having a good time, socialising and trying to win the game we so love! Which of course includes nobling ORC's!

Once again jus thad to point out your double standards! Hope you are all having fun over there in ORC with your rules! Don't forget to sign in during your mandatory check in! Or you may get your strike!!! lol!!!!!!!!

Luke

In all fairness, it is possible to have fun with rules luke, if that's what they like leave it up to them. Not really double standards, more of a matter of opinion. I think organised Chaos is a suitable name, considering that.

My point is that Rex always goes on about how ORC are different from every tribe and how they are not obsessed with being first and winning this game. Yet the very first thing a member sees when they join the tribe is a set of rules which are designed for the sole purpose of limiting a players actions to what the council would like them to do.

Call me crazy but being treated like a robot isnt my idea of fun?

If your not in it to win it why bother? Why play a game if you don't intend to try and see it to the end or do your best to succeed in. If you want a chat stick to skype - if your going to be a part of the game, BE A PART OF IT!

My point exactly, and there is no point in pretending that you are doing anything but that!
Glad we see eye to eye and not just nuke to wall!

Mr. Bishop's attempt to undermine C-rexx's credibility fails monumentally due to the faulty logic employed in his post. The argument put fourth is that since ORC have rules, C-Rexx statement that they don't play to win at all cost is an example of a double standard and consequently no one should ever trust a word she says.

First of all, the notion that absence of rules is a prerequisite for having fun is wrong. This can be proven by any player saying that they have fun playing the game, given that the game itself is governed by rules from InnoGames.

Secondly, Mr. Bishop's claim that no one should trust a word C-Rexx say because she employs double standards is paradoxical of nature. Few tribes, if any, has been exposed for using more double standards than the tribe Mr. Bishop himself is the leader for. So if the employment of double standards causes your word to be untrustworthy, Mr. Bishop own words that double standards causes your word to be untrustworthy cannot be trusted. One could even say that it is an example of the Epimenides paradox, but the the hobby shrinks in W1N would get their knickers in a twist as the saying goes and make diagnostically statement about my mental state.

I have to say that Sir Luke is quickly becoming one of my favourite people on the forum. It's no wonder W1N is an excellent tribe.

Apart from having double standards and insisting that her special tribe is different from the rest, C-Rex just shows plain dishonesty. If you're really a bunch of fun-loving people who don't play to win, there is no reason why you need rules pertaining to the game, is there? My favourite is "Not nobled your target in a reasonable amount of time without explanation or updates". Well, if it's all just fun, why is there a need to noble a village in a reasonable amount of time?

Is it because it is possible that another tribe may jump on the village?
Is that not competition? Is that not playing to win? Come on.

This whole "ORC plays for fun and comradeship" excuse is getting pretty old. You want fun and comradeship? Maybe you should all meet up and go dancing at a club together while sharing your hopes and dreams. But don't come on here saying you play for fun and comradeship when it's pretty obvious that you don't.

That either makes you delusional or a liar.
Which is it?

I would suggest both delusional and a liar!!!

She has been outed for what she is - hence why she hasnt said anything on here for a while, or any ORC for that matter!!

Maybe she just doesn't see the need to justify anything to anyone and that true ORCS, being the lovely fun-loving people that they are, will stand by their leader through thick and thin, through barbs and enemies, and through crap and common sense.

That could be correct, but what she needs to remember, is that a lot of the players she has taken in wont be loyal to her - they tried running to ORC for cover, yet they are still in the firing line.

It speaks volumes that she's gone quiet i think.

Personally, I think it shows that che can keep her calm, and is quite clever. Lets be honest, posting here would never help her cause, the forum presnce W1N have could easily shout her down.

If she was clever, she wouldn't have started posting in the first place, would she?

Clearly you have not had much contact with the ORC leadership. If you had,
you would know them to be quite the opposite of calm and clever!

But credit where it's due...

Rexxie and her glazy-eyed followers do their utmost to appear calm and
educated...

... hence they are quiet on the forums to avoid being caught out like they do
ALL THE TIME in our skype chats!
