How long will this player be banned? Is there a set time when this expires? Will he/she turn barb? whats happens next and when please?

i believe that a player can be banned for an indefinite time. The game staff descides what the punishment will be and he will most likely if still banned be gone within 1-2 weeks. It just depends.
