bonus villages

hi im new. can anyone explain what bonus villages do. i was thinking if i attack a bonus village i would get whatever is written on it. i.e. 100% iron... means my iron production will grow by that %.
I sent some troops with my paladin to attack one of them. tey returned empty handed..
whats the purpose of it then?

you attack it and your troops come back with a haul if there are no resources in the village they bring no resources back, you don't really experience the bonus of the village until you take over the village using a noble man.

Yes, they are just normal barbarian villages that you can farm until you noble them

thank you. so i assume the paladin is the noble man. and he came back.
theres no one else to send, what do i do?

Nope, the nobleman is a seperate unit produced in the academy which you need a lvl 20 hq, lvl 10 market and a lvl 20 smithy for.

are there no cheats on how to increase production lvls? )))))))

Nope, and that would get you banned as it is against the rules

Hi there guys, could someone please answer me the following?
1. What happens to my troops after I attack a settlement? e.g. " attacker won, got so much ore and wood etc sent 8 troops lost 1" but what happens to my remaining troops? They don’t come back?!
2. Can I take over a settlement?

I would be very grateful for any help

1. The surviving troops will return with a haul.

2. If you mean village then yes, you can take over it. Use a noble man.
