Breaking the silence
We've stayed silent for a long time.
We have read all the insults on public forum and in the W1 leaders forum with the obvious attempts to goad us into a public cat fight. We have chosen not to formally respond to these.
We've observed the very obvious frustration within W1N at the lack of response to these insults being thrown at us. It really has been quite entertaining!
Since relations with W1N deteriorated, we have had discussions with other tribes. We will admit that preparations have been under way for quite some time. What sensible tribe does not do these things?
We're also aware that W1N have been spying on both skype chats and forums, and as such an amount of carrot and stick has been used to misguide them. Just how much, where or who by... is the interesting bit! ;-)
W1N brag about their skill and supremacy, however there is only one thing that is outstanding about W1N and that is the double standards employed in W1N's diplomacy.
Double standards
1. Players who go Barb within a mixed K, namely K33.
TR members: Topcat1 and Clymonistra went barb, and were immediately being nobled by W1N, who claimed that barbs are barbs - and no one has rights over them.
W1N member: Lupy Lou went barb, and W1N claimed rights over all villages.
2. War targets in the other tribes home continents.
When warring with SWARM, one of the players we recruited was within W1Ns home continent. We were told this was unacceptable, and forced to give up his villages.
When W1N were warring with ORC, they took villages within our home continent and claimed they had rights to do so.
3. Border Agreements
Whilst warring the Avaz, we were being attacked by players on the W1N side of the border. We asked if we could attack these, and were told to leave them.
Whilst warring =KN=, W1N attacked and nobled villages on our side of the border without even asking, and breaking our border agreements.
4. Recruiting refugees
Kafa was being attacked and nobled by TR
W1N recruited and stacked him against us, despite our intentions being clear.
5. Breach of NAP
Launching scouting parties, offensive troops and noblemen whilst under NAP
Acts of war
This was explained as a drunken moment.......
Other reports:
Some of these... also drunken moments...? this excuse is getting boring...
W1N cancelled their NAP with us, on 15th May, giving us 7 days notice... and still proceeded to send attacks on our villages.
It seems W1n has one set of rules if they favour them and another set of rules when it comes to NAPS or Alliances. It clearly shows that they dont respect other tribes and are just involved in diplomacy so they can control them and make sure they get what they want. We have respected rules and agreements but when you get NONE back its kind of pointless.
The time has come, when these blatant acts of war upon our tribe can no longer be ignored
W1N's diplomacy makes a complete mockery of trust and respect.
We will stand by no longer, and see our members insulted and attacked.
