Well the war in the 80's was funded by America and Osama. Osama, a rich dude :lol: , from Saudia came to Afghanistan to help out the war effort against Russia. America supplied moneys as well as weapons to the taliban. (Proven fact)

Is Bin Laden dead?

They did? Oh crap, I missed that... I thought they just sent part of there army into support a socialist(? not sure here) government trying to seize control in an Afghanistan civil war. oh wai-

Well the socialist government was already in charge, that's why socialist Afghanistan had things like womens rights, although it was more of a Western European style of socialism then Soviet Communism.

The Soviets went in to support the current socialist governement by crushing the Islamic fundementalists (sounds slightly familiar :D) as a number of parts of the USSR had muslim populations. Since freedom of religion was restricted, if Islam was allowed to flourish there then it could spread over several countries (like in the "stans").

Why? Because he never does anything himself. He gets his followers to do his dirty work and sentences them to possible death and imprisonment. If he really believed in stuff he would face up to the world and do protests, etc

Is it just me or have the US managed to be a part in most conflicts in Arabian lands? o_O

They support Israel so they can keep up with terrorism against Palestinians, they managed to ruin Somalia, started a war with Irak because they wanted their oil (excuse was to get ridd of al-qaida which never was in Irak?)...Support Taliban in Afghanistan....

Somone does probably have something to edit in >.>

Ohhh, and inb4 "DO YOU HATE AMERICA?!!111!".

I think its fairly likely bin laden is alot more hands on on his terrorism than the American government is in their terrorism ...errr wars.
