Politics 'n' Propaganda (or the other way around? I'm not entirely sure). Basically, posting a thread to support/attack a tribe.

Nowadays it seems to be Pics 'n' Paintings though...

It is politics and propaganda, anorian is right on that one. It isn't really "posting a thread to support/attack a tribe" though to be honest. Good Propaganda and politics is all about making people believe what you want them to believe.

Yes, that is the whole point of propaganda after all, so that should go without saying :icon_wink:.

It can only be about a tribe, generally. Occasionally about a player, but nine times out of ten it'll get locked for being completely useless. If it doesn't get locked, there'll be a load of "You fail"s posted, maybe a *facepalm* or two, and then everyone will just let it die whilst shaking their heads in shame.

PnP isn't a single thread, it's a general posting attitude which you use to sway the opinion of the average forum goer. It's about acting professional, and making everyone think you are right even when you aren't, and most importantly, making everyone who doesn't share your viewpoint look wrong, even when they're right. A common misconception is that this can only be done by spawning masses of threads, each coated with dozens of pictures ripped from google. However, the most effective PnP is most often that which comes within an already existing thread.

usually includes degrading your enemy by almost any means possible, one example is using hard facts

Just make sure you don't resort to personal insults and other things not related to the point you're trying to prove. It'll only backfire.
