I've been playing on the uk servers for five years and I started on .net back in 08, so I've been here roughly for seven years. I began playing Tribalwars as one of those crappy browser based games that the school filter didn't block back when I was in highschool, when I didn't feel like doing my school work because screw the system. :lol:
Anyway, cutting a long story short, I've learned that I just can't compete anymore. Maybe it's because I recently took 8 months away from TW and forgot how to play or because I've just realized that I was never that good, but I'm really bored of this game. I came back with good intentions because I wanted to establish myself in the top 10 in the endless rankings for speed and I wanted to try and establish myself as one of the top players on classic, but neither worked out, as you can tell.
TW requires a lot of time to play more than anything else. It's the ultimate resource. If you can spend 10-12 hours playing TW then you're good for some success at the game. It's even better when you know how to build/start up/snipe etc. I just can't do those things anymore :lol:
I can't be bothered to relearn how to play the game and honestly, my name just gets me too much attention to play. I don't a tribe to play with or a trust co-player anymore and whenever I do join a round I just have this big massive red dot on my back. As for classic I was only play 3-4 hours a day, my starting location had the majority of the early top 20 in it so there was nothing to farm.
All excuses aside I suck now. I think I've sucked at TW going back to W13 and staying around is just a huge waste of time. There are better games out there. I've been apart of some great tribes, played with some of the greats and I've had my fair share of drama, most notably with the staff. I was a well known player, more respected for being a girl than anything else (I've always been average even at the height of my playing powers) and I can leave knowing that I made a small, tiny impression.
Thanks to Nauzhror for the tips and tricks he showed me over the years and unbanning my forum account so I could participate in the last few weeks. Roch2001 for being a great friend, back when he was around. Adellion for stalking me :lol:. The MSG/OT crowd (a blend of both) for the lulz. Matty for letting me be the post girl for SLAP! for a year. And of course I cannot forget Reduaram, who I played with a lot as well. There are some other players that I could name but you guys probably don't know them (they're not as known as the aforementioned) and so there isn't really much point continuing.
So I am officially retiring from TW. The SexySmurf account has 30 days activate PA/7 days loot assistant and has 130 PP left over from the original 500 I got for being here for 5 years (I guess it paid to no life :lol
so if anyone wants to play speed basically for free for the next month or so, you can PM me and I'll let you co-play the account until the 30 days are up. Maybe someone better than me could get me up the leader board :lol:
