Suggestions for future rounds

Hi, thought a thread named suggestions is needed.

Well, players must be having some problems related to the settings of the speed worlds, so it would be kind of the staff to atleast read our suggestions and make worlds which are more appealing to us.

Is it ok?

I think you should do another 12-hour 300 cluster round with simple tech smithy, pali with weapons, archers, and increased building start

Please remember though that what you don't like others may like so it will always be a mix of this and that.

Something like this would be fine:
Normal Noble round, 12 hours:
Speed: 350/400
Unit Speed: 0.5
Players start with increased building levels (HQ 3, Warehouse 3, Timber 3, Iron 3, Clay 3, Hiding place 1).
45 minutes beginner protection.
Paladin active (no items).
Archers off.
Simple tech smithy.
Units outside villages cannot be scouted.
Farm Limit Active
Barbs and advanced bonus villages grow to 500 points.
Coin academy.
5-member tribe limit. No attacking tribemates. No leaving tribe. No outside support.
Random starting location.

Making sure there's quite a few bonus's when it starts as well would be good.

I had loaded a round and was about to post the settings when I saw your suggestion and thought it would fit best for today so switched it up a bit. No worries on the round numbers!!

Have fun with the round and keep the settings ideas coming and will try and set them up!:)[/sa]

That's the current .net round..

Won't work on such a small server like this though.

true. I used this to show a rounds that I prefer.

Points I forgot were: increased building levels.

What I need is fast rounds with huge barbs :)


One more suggestions that was given on .net forum that we really should apply is:

the team should send a mail or newsletter..whatever.. to all worlds to inform players about what actually happens in speed rounds. Points that can be used are:

its way faster like the name suggests
lasts for few hours or few days
PP can be earned
there are different types of rounds like constant noble, cats, bash etc.
free for starting 100 players.


KK..I understand this server is not big one like .net but still it looks like only 90-150 players out of 12313 or so know what speeds are lol.

Eg: I joined a round got nobled at night(was not interested in the round, just having fun), Logged in again the next daya nd starts at rak 75 or so I guess.

Now in .net : I got late by 3 minutes!! to join a world and it was filled :(

So now we get a round lasting the entire weekend, (One of the few times a lot of players actually get a chance to play), with no barbs or bonuses. Great, thanks. :icon_neutral:

A lot more barbs than usually seen on .UK, but non growing.
45 minutes BP
Paladin off
Archer off
Simple smithy
Fake limit active
Single packet nobles
2 Member tribe limit
No farm limit
No morale/ratio protection
Building queue yes

This kind of round regularly would make .UK a lot more fun, especially the barb suggestion (Lots, non growing)
