Paladin's Weapon Chamber
The weapon chamber holds items that you can equip your Paladin with. Your Paladin finds new items when it collects experience attacking. The paladin always collects experience, however, it will collect experience much faster when you send it out to attack and fight against defended villages. The image below shows a fully equipped Weapon Chamber.

paladincb0.png

To equip your paladin all you have to do is click on an item in your weapon chamber. Once you've equipped your Paladin with an item you can see him fully dressed in your statue. Next to it you see a description of the current item. The items you find are stored safely in your weapon chamber. They can not be stolen by other players and you do not lose them when you lose your Paladin. The item may be used by a new Paladin.

You will have to send your equipped Paladin alongside with your attacking armies to benefit of his items' bonus.

This should be the advanced weapons not the basic weapons.

...and does your pally gain an experience boost when killed (either attacking or defending)? I hear rumours that this may be true, but have never been able to work it out either way...

He does.

Yes. You will not gain any experience while he is dead though. ie. The fight that he dies in will give experience, but subsequent fights before he is replaced will not.

Are the weapons you find completely random, or is it biased or ordered in some way based on your account and how long it took you to find the weapon or whatever?

I'm sure there's something wrong my Weapons. :S

It's been stuck on 94% for a while now, and I've attacked a village with my Paladin at least 3 times since then, but still not gone up and I still haven't got my weapon. :S

It goes up based on OD, not attacks. If you farm a village and kill no troops it won't go up.

There's also a daily cap to prevent top OD ranked players from getting weapons ridiculously fast compared to everyone else.

...but do you gain more experience in a particular battle if your paladin dies than if the battle had been exactly the same in all other respects but your paladin had not died?

Yes, just won't gain anymore from subsequent battles that take place between the battle he died and when he is rebuilt.

Hi!

Will the paladin get Exp when not fighting, even if I get OD?

Im not sure this is correct, I believe you can farm empty villiages and still get %.

Cherubim once told me the cap is 3% daily but seems a bit low....

I think...key word being think...as it's been a very long time since I've played.

If your Paladin kills stuff, it gets %exp based on what was killed.

If your paladin doesn't kill anything all day, as long as you attacked something you get 3%. Going to need someone from in-game to clarify this.

3% daily on a speed 1 world no matter what. (6% on a speed 2 world, etc)
Your pally gets extra % based on opponents defeated as attacker, he doesn't need to do the killing himself. (Don't ask me how much. I'm relatively sure no one really knows without checking the game code)

Not sure exactly how much, but I do know that you gain more from several small attacks than from one large attack, and that there seems to be a limit as to how high of a % you can gain on a given day. ie. Clearing 10 people seems to give more % increase than clearing one person who had 10 times as many troops, and clearing five people each day for four days in a row seems to give a larger increase than clearing 20 people on any given day would.

Thanks for the info, the time taken to help clarify these things is much appreciated :)

Does your paladin's exp gain rate decrease when you have more weapons?
