What happens when you get infracted

Can anyone tell me what happens when you get infracted?:icon_cry:

Its another way of saying - GO TO BED! YOU'VE BEEN A NAUGHTY BOY.
Enough infractions/or depending on how serious the infraction is can get you banned.

Wrong section.

An infraction is pretty much a strike. Every infraction has a certain amount of points (I think 5 is a ban). The amount of bans and how serious the breach of rules is, is what how long the ban will last is based on.


He's just asking and I'm just answering, please don't infract us for discussing this.

An infraction can range from 1-6 points depending on how severe the case is. If you build up 6 points or more, before the first ones expire, you will be automatically banned until the infractions expire.

Usually when you get infracted you create a stupid thread, much like this one. You then get another infraction for making such a dumb thread.

If you don't break any rules, you will never have to worry about being infracted.

That being said, do you plan on receiving an infraction, if so that is naughty. (Picking)

But Truly, a member should never receive an infraction, unless the Mod. is in a bad mood.

So if someone derails multiple threads, they don't deserve infractions? Or what if they cuss out an entire thread? What if they post porn on the forums? What if they have a blatant disregard for the rules?

Infractions are what keep these forums in order, because enough infractions means a ban.

That Has nothing to do with my post. All I was saying, one shouldn't worry about receiving an infraction, so long as they follow the rules.

I was picking a little, stating that one should never need to know what an infraction is, unless they plan on doing something that would warrant one.

I completely agree, if a player does anything you mentioned, they should receive warnings than infractions if that person persists on breaking the rules.
