I still don't understand how your troops can be religious even if they are attacking outside of their church influence. Well I understand but it has no logic imo.

Almost every game company tests their game at faster paces and using admin scripts and commands. Judging by the link provided by the OP it's just in testing and will be adjusted when the world is ready for release.
