When it says barbs grow slowly, how long does that mean till they reach 7k points?

I'd say... about 3 months and it doesn't say slowly growing anywhere. :/

It says on the settings "cheap rebuilding of lost noblemen". What does that mean?

I'm guessing that when a noble dies you can rebuild it for half price or something like that. I'm not really sure though.

When teh nobleman dies, you can rebuild it in teh village it was lost for 1 packet
Only if it is killed, overnobling=grrrr

I thought you could get it back for free if it died?
On W3 I've had loads of free Nobles, if you recruit it in the villa it was born in (educated, whatever :p) then it's free on W3 I think...

It's not.
It actually depends how the noble dies.
If it dies in defense, he's gone for good and you can't 'revive' him with one package in the same village, you have to pay the full price again (but you can choose the village you build it).
If it dies while attacking, then you can revive it for 1 package in the same village.
If you over-noble, the noble is gone for good as well and you have to pay full price again.

Seeing as;
A) A lot of mods have read this topic
B) I don't want to make a new thread
C) It's vaguely on topic
and D) It's been annoying me for a lil while...

But... can someone change the "UK5" on the forum set up to "UK 5" to fit in with the rest of the worlds?

Just kinda makes sense...

Hello :D
i think the "UK 5" will be great because of the babarian villigas, but well i think no paladin and no tribe limit is not very cool.
PS: Who like to make an alliance with me, plz PM.

For all those of you who seem to think this world is fail because its new and scary (yes, change has come...no, change is not always bad) have a think about what makes a great player. Is it the ability to farm masses of resources? Is it the ability to snipe? to backtime? to dodge?
When I look at it all those are things I could teach to a new player in a day, probably less. As a matter of fact i have done on en50 on .net as part of my teaching tribe Femme. We have guys pulling out all the flashy tricks and 'skills' that Jamm, Thar, Tracey etc. can throw around.
What makes a great player is there adaptability, there ability to think on there feet, there control of there account and everything around it.
You ask some of my training nubcakes on en50 to send a 150ms train (fastest allowed on en50) and they can all do it, every time. Ask them what the next 5 things in there build queue should be and why that effective when considering the settings and neighbours growth patterns...not a clue. Thats the hard part.

I for one am thoroughly looking forward to this world for all the challenges it will provide, it has forced me to come up with some new ideas, building techniques and even the anti-pointwhore build strategy (look out for that one, it was funny as hell trying to create it.) I cannot gaurantee any of what I'm doing will work, only time will tell but the world isnt open and already we have had some great moments on skype (you try to explain to a pointwhore like Nauz that a level 30 HQ is a terrible idea) trying to figure out exactly how to combat all the new and unusual toys Tracey and Thar have brought for us to play with.

@Tracey and her tribal teamwork thingy: Yes, I have played like that, I love it. Its utterly hilarious sending 13 spears as support cos its all you got and it might just be enough to stop a 5lc noble escort.
Heck I have even seen someone snipe a train using like 900 scouts cos everything else was out helping other people.

With the no ms rule it also puts people like me in jeopardy, I am a lover of offense and a big fan of snipe/backtime tactics....so for me this is an even bigger change than usual. Maybe someone might rim me before I even get going....its happened before and no doubt will do again sooner or later. Gunna be great fun trying to stop them in the meantime though :)

I agree with you all the way sneggy. This will force players to think outside the box, maybe skip LC...who knows?
I can send uber trains, send respectable backtimes, and I've done a 150ms snipe or two, have you ever seen me top 20?
I have, twice...both under 200 points and for under an hour. Not the best times to be there.
But, I was having the same experience talking with my Coplayers, arguing about all sorts of things (I was of course right, as I had done some math beforehand :p) and the unusual settings meant going against the grain.
I hope that this world will bring in some more teamwork, the likes of which haven't been seen in a few worlds.
And you won't have problems sneggy :p
Also, gerron skype and explain this anti-pointwhore build strategy

THanks for the heads up, although I didn't intend to join this early anyway.
