Late game isn't a stage of the server's progress, its a stage of the individual accounts' progress. You can't believe late game will never come, late game comes when you grow your account big enough. I think what you mean to say, might be that the "late gamers" you got didn't turn out to be late gamers after all ?

Should've been more clear, they disliked how slow the world was progressing, and since they weren't very fond of startup, it seemed like startup was an enternity.

Is loyalty a distant idea in TW is it the ability to inspire loyalty that is missing here ? Loyalty should never be automatic, it should be earned. In fact, if loyalty is offered automatically, my first instinct is that something is fishy.
How do you know Sparks wasn't just better at inspiring loyalty in those that followed her than whoever ran KTHX ? She certainly hails from a clique basically built around those sort of values.

I don't think (as a personal rule of thumb) what you described amount to in-sult-ing. To start with if you're sensitive enough to feel insulted when someone calls you immature, then the Internet is not the place for you. Get offline, because theres probably stuff here that would hurt your feelings a hell of a lot more. Calling someone immature is not an insult.
Secondly, even if sparks refused to talk to you lot, whats:

1. The harm in it
2. There for you to be upset about ?
   
   

Folks haven't ignored you in the past? If you feel insulted because someone chooses not to talk in a skype chat, you probably have some growing up to do.

Both sides seem to agree that Sparks did not like the community in KTHX. Which I wouldn't blame on either party, some folks aren't compatible with all kinds of groups. Its the whole accusation that she's been ragging and raging against KHTX from the word go that I find a little implausible (based on the comments in this thread).

Yeah, we did a lot of internalling. Mostly because of our start up and aggressiveness. Anyone that played from the start knows we took on tribal leaders, and whatnot. In retrospect, we definitely played more aggressive than Sparks. Let's compare our first 15?
